Where do you get your news [if you want to] on your tablet?
Do you use the browser as you would on a desktop/laptop or do you use an app?
My son thought using an app was odd. Fine on a smart phone but doesn't see the advantage on a tablet, especially a 10 inch.

Likewise for newspaper apps, mostly dire. I'd just go to their website or download the whole newspaper using something like PressReader.
I tend to use the main websites, only problem with the iPad is the lack of flash but my Playbook works fine with all the main news websites.
Eta - I tried flip board but it didn't seem to work for me.
The CNN tablet app is probably as good as it gets on Android and is better than using the web site which is very cluttered.
The other things about tablet apps is that audio/video and interactive graphics will play/work. No Flash issues that some websites can cause.
News Republic: Highly customisable to get the news that you want, and my go-to news app for specific news.
Sky News: Great app for UK news and weather.
BBC News: Another great app for those wanting news!
Appy Gamer: Made by the same people as News Republic and ideal for my gaming news.
Google Currents: For general news.

Hi
For gaming News I use Google+ solely for gaming news, I have put all the major gaming sites and studios in one circle and use this circle has the opening page. The best thing about this is, the look (decent size tiles with great pics) and the video content (like reviews) are instantly playable like a you tube link on face book).
But I'll try your Appy Gamer.
Whenever I go onto a news website it's all "old" news as I've seen all the headlines before through my Twitter timeline.
I find this to be mostly the case as well. Plus you get the subjects or areas you're interested in as you tailor what you see via who you follow.
