It just backs up what I have said all along about taylor and her new sound, this album is gonna come as such a big dissapointment to taylors loyal fans.

to be honest, we are never ever getting back together and this (a fairly decent dance tune) are the most interesting things she has ever done, so i imagine this will attract more fans
Woops. Heres more of that autotune that Taylor Swift doesn't use.
At least she's trying new things out, even if it pisses off her country fan base. Good for her. Of course when you branch out, potentially leaving your fan base behind, make sure the new stuff is actually good.
I've said it before. She really needs to do an acoustic club tour and get back to basics. Do more S & S indie type stuff.
As a massive Taylor Swift fan, I really want to like this. But admittedly, I do not like the sound of that at all. And that's coming from the sort of Swiftie who will hear nothing bad said against their precious Taylor.
But, it's only a 30 second clip. I'm going to save my final judgement for the full song. As it stands, though, I'm very disappointed. Taylor needs to stay away from this sort of sound. I sincerely hope this is the only song of its kind on the album...
Gonna have to get my OTT stan head on for the inevitable 'OMG SELL OUT!!!11!!1!!!1!!1' comments from people jealous their faves can't come close to Taylor.
Hard to judge from 30 seconds but so far it sounds pretty awful. Two good, two bad so far from the songs we've heard from the album.
Red is my fav so far, its more the taylor sound. This plus the first single could have been done by any chart pop artist, the music is just pointless and bet this new single is another from the loins of max martin and his croonies. I have always said this album wont please the real taylor fans and going by what I have seen and heard many are not impressed, its ripped apart her loyal fans totally. But guess many fans of dire pop pap will be getting exciting about this.
Just pleased I only ordered the basic album at 6.99 and not the deluxe edition.
Heaven knows how she is gonna perform this stuff live, I feel sorry for her band, going from backing a rock star to a katy perry wannabe:eek:
Guess Liz must be silently pleased she has got out as shes a rock Chick as well.
The more and more songs i hear, the more I think what an awful album it is gonna be. Good on Taylor for mixing up her style but the songwriting is becoming rather poor and the productions could be better.
The only decent thing she has done is Ronan and that is not even gonna be on the album sadly.
Yes, because her 'overproduced' stuff is really tanking...
Hell no it isn't tanking! That's why she has stuck with the same immature 15 year old voiced lyrics at 22. There are plenty of tweens (and their chaperone moms) here in America to fill stadiums and buy her albums.
GL has one thing rght, it's all about the dollar. That is one thing we all can agree upon.
Her lyrics are becoming more and more childish for a girl of her age. She is growing up but her music isn't. It's no wonder why she will never ever be in the same league and legendary status as the likes of Faith Hill and Shania Twain.
Should have been different but
It wasn't different, was it
Same old story, dear john,
And so long
Should have fit like a glove
Should have fit like a ring
Like a diamond ring
A token of true love
Should have all worked out
But it didn't
She should be here now
But she isn't
[Chorus:]
There's your trouble,
There's your trouble
You keep seeing double
With the wrong one
You can't see I love you,
You can't see she doesn't
But you just keep holding on
[
So now you're thinking 'bout
All you're missing how
Deep you're sinking,
Round and round and dragging down
Why don't you cash in your chips
Why don't you call it a loss
Not such a big loss,
Chalk it up better luck
Could have been true love
But it wasn't
It should all add up
But it doesn't
[Repeat chorus]
Should have all worked out
But it didn't
She should be here now
But she isn't

Not listened to this so can't comment.

I knew you were trouble
I'm going to assume it doesn't sound anything like the Dixie Chicks - There's Your Trouble? As that's all I hear when I read the start of the chorus!
