    Great result for Sons, wasn't their best performance but considering they came from a goal behind to win and hold on says a lot. Earlier in the season Sons would have crumbled going a goal down, big test this Saturday @ the Rock v Hamilton though, Accies in decent form lately. :)

    You can sense the pain of fans of a certain new SFL3 team from the southside of Glasgow.

    Celtic will make around £5.5m from one match whilst they have to sell cut price season tickets to survive.

    They can only dream of having crowds in excess of 57k shouting them on in European nights against the continents biggest clubs.

    Scotland's biggest football league ground;
    Scotland's highest attendances;
    Scotland's highest average attendance;
    Scotland's highest income.

    Celtic, the only show in town.

    Come on The Thistle :D

    He should be.

    Any other managers shouldn't. That was a fluke, you don't get that every week. ;):D

    United fans are now crapping themselves to the end of the transfer window. :p

    Heard it was being 'upped' to £7m :rolleyes:

    Heard he was offered less than Scott Brown gets on his contract ... surely that can't be right :eek:

    So Hooper has 'rejected' what he believes is the final contract offer from Celtic.

    I see Jim McInally isn't buying the hogwash from the media.

    Neil Lennon confirms second Norwich bid turned down and confitms it was nowhere near £6m.

    Also says the contract put to Hooper has been on offer for 3 months or so and has until Feb to accept.

    If I was Hooper the lure of a potential history making champions league quarter final with Celtic and guaranteed medal at end of the season would help me decide rather than playing mid table matches with Norwich. Continue his great work for Celtic till may then a bigger team may come calling, like an Everton etc:

    IIRC Hooper is changing agents at the end of the month. Got a feeling someone is trying to engineer a payday before the contract with his current agent expires.

    Could be wrong though.

    I'd hate to have seen what you would have written had Strachan done that in a press conference. :p:p

    And thankfully cup-tied, otherwise the inevitable would have happened a week on Sunday!
