Anybody here ditching there Iphone after IOS7? I know some people are tied up in contracts so can't do it so easy but I'm sim free and my Iphone is up for sale in Gum Tree.
I think we are now in a post Steve jobs era where everything Apple churn out is rubbish. Hardware to software everything has been lacklustre and boring.
The only thing which will stop Apple crumbling is Windows isn't doing any better. Plus Android handsets are still bland.

I think a good old Nokia 3310 will suit you. You seem to put a downer on everything else.
I'm just not so brand loyal to buy any rubbish a company churns out.
IOS7 is by far the worst looking junk I have seen on any mobile operating system in the past 5 years. I think even Apple fans agree but many seem open to giving it a go.
A few years back I ditched Sony Ericsson after they stopped making decent phones. Apple was only going to dominate for so long. Iphone 5 sales have been slow and I think when they preloaded this IOS7 junk on and people can try the Iphone live..one of the few handsets to do so in a phone store..people will see how shocking and awful it is.
How have you got access to the released version of 7?
As you seem to imply in your other thread that it is now as bad as android & windows, I assume you are going to buy a blackberry? Let us know how you get on.
Already on Gum Tree with my Iphone.
I'm not saying BB has better features than Android but neither has Apple. I jumped ship to Apple for the IOS software but now it's by far the worst in my opinion. I got the Iphone at a time when it was popular with business type of people and it was professional. Blackberry seem to have that market filled now.
I can't see the Iphone 5S with it's rainbow of colours being popular with business people and office workers.
Have you used iOS7 yet, or have you just watched a video on Youtube?
There's an interactive demo kicking about online and I tried it. Like I say using it was quite painful on the eyes with the colours. Far too much white texts and bright pastel colours.
I was going to buy the 5S but it's £529 saved for me it seems.
The iPhone 5 was only released September last year. What do you think has happened in the "business type of people" market to show that the iPhone is now not popular and the blackberry is?
I can understand because of personnel choice that you may wan to change from the iPhone. I think your rather strange obsession in creating threads and trying to get others to agree with you is a little weird:)
There's a lot of IOS7 hate all over the internet though. Ok some people like it but I don't get why either? It's just pushing it more in line with Android creating less choice of OS.
To me it's clear Apple just done this as they fear Android taking over.
But do you really expect the final one to change that much?
A "themes" option probably won't come until IOS8 when enough people complain about those awful colours.
Well, with your clear insight, who could argue with that logic:rolleyes:
Online, you have tried it online? I hope this is a joke. For your information, if you don't like the colour scheme, you can change it! I'm sure by the time iOS7 hits the market, there will be myriad of apps and tools to enable users to customize iOS 7 look and feel.
IOS7 might be a design change but it lacks the 200 new features. Yes there's some but it's all about Apple becoming Android this time.
I doubt there will be any changing IOS7's look and feel if you keep it running on IOS7. None of those apps would be allowed on the app store or we would have had them for IOS6.
I'm not sure how you can tell what new features there are or will be. You confirm that you haven't used it on your phone so your only access to information is the same as mine (I have an iPad which is the limit of my interest).
Let us know what you think of the blackberry:)
If I eventually install it on my Ipad I would say the same.

I never had a 3000 series Nokia. I always had the higher end 6000 series devices. I was more interested in having the higher end feature set than clip on covers.
To answer your question about iOS7; I haven't tried it yet, but it looks fine to me. I'm interested by some of the new additions and it should run well on my iPhone 5. So no, not planning to ditch. I do already have a Nexus 4 as well, so I have the best of both worlds.
