Watched it on Saturday, brilliant film, lots of film references......the alien one with the chicken had me laughing out loud, (I think I was the only person in that screening who got it as everyone looked at me)
As said, the last 10 minutes is hysterical. (do not think from, that the rest of the film is below par....as it isn't)
Saw it on Saturday and loved it. Though it does somewhat lack in originality and is perhaps a bit too predictable, which I think makes it not quite as good as the first, it's still an immensely entertaining sequel. Just about every scene with the minions or Agnes was brilliant.
Directors Pierre Coffin and Chris Renaud know what works in this Looney Toons meets Pixar universe, with vibrant colours, memorable characters and slapstick comedy wonderfully meshing together.
Early morning screening of this today at my local (9:30am on a Sunday !). Absolutely loved it. I did think that a lot of the funny stuff with the minions had been shown in the trailers, but I was still laughing my backside off though.
I watched the "auditions" for the Minions Movie in the end credits as well and I don't know if it was the black bars that threw off my perspective with the 3D glasses on, but the bubbles really did look like they were just in front of me
Loved the first one especially Kru (Steve Carell).
How does this guy do all these different voices.
Caught him playing the voice of Hammy in Over the Hedge at the weekend.
Thought the little girl of the three was so cute and the owner of the orphanage wasn't one to be reckoned with.
All sweetness and light and then an ogre the next
Comments
so I will see number 2 just for them
The Minions will be getting their own movie too I believe at some point.
For me, the last 5-10 minutes made me LOL continually

I'd give it a 6.5/10, I think the first film was much better/funnier.
