Trigger never did much for me only Fools and Horses.
I thought his comedy bits were a bit cheap and lazy compared to the writing in the rest of the episode. His character felt more like one you'd find in a shit sitcom. I never found that character in the slightest bit believable.

    - Wesley Crusher on "TNG"

I've only seen a few ST: TNG episodes and that character really deserves all the bashing and hostility he gets from the fans. Why oh why did they have to have a kid on that show, and one of the most annoying ever? Got to wonder what they were thinking (aside from the obvious of trying to draw in younger viewers).

Juliette in Grimm. She can't remember Nick. I wish he and the audience couldn't remember her !

Personally I think the show could do much better without either of them

    I agree.
In real life, how long would it be before you grabbed him by the lapels of his jacket, pull him close to your face and scream at him "My name is NOT Dave. It's RODNEY, you thick pillock !!!!!"

Clive in Miranda. I liked James Holmes in other stuff, but here he was just irritating. Too camp and smarmy for my liking.

Mickey Smith in Doctor Who - much of the fandom won't like me for this, but then I never liked him much in turn :p

Ianto Jones in Torchwood - another blow to the Whoniverse :p

Connor Temple in Primeval - he got better with time and had brief lapses of brilliance, but was still annoying all the same.

Xander Harris in Buffy - not annoying all the time, but when he was it dragged things down a lot.

Arthur Petrelli in Heroes - I thought I wasn't too fond of Nathan, but then his Dad came along and made everything clear that it could be worse. A shame as he's a brilliant actor.

Fox Mulder in The X Files - To clarify, I absolutely love Mulder. But in my opinion, the only major flaw with Seasons 8 and 9 were how annoying he was - we had brilliant new characters who he put down quicker than CSM could light a cigarette. Thankfully he only impacted a handful of episodes. Funnily enough I quite like Diana Fowley and Marita Covarrubias.

Are you perhaps a Sci-Fi/Fantasy kind of individual? I'm getting a vibe.

Any woman that's ever been on Mock The Week except Jo Brand.

That's harsh and indicates that you have a very basic sense of humour (since this is Brand's target audience).

Roger on American Dad is so ****ing annoying! :D

Funny how people can have completely polar opinions on the same show, isn't it. Because I think Roger is the funniest thing about American Dad.:D

If there's a character that ruins that show for me it's Hayley.

The fact that she's played by Seth Macfarlane's sister makes her character even more annoying, because you know she didn't even get the job because she was the best voice for the part.

    - Wesley Crusher on "TNG"

    - Betty Suarez and her entire family on "Ugly Betty"

On a related note, Will Wheaton in TBBT. So irritating.

I liked Betty's family, but the character herself became extremely annoying in the last couple of seasons.

I found Tara in True Blood really, really annoying, always taking everything so personally and playing the race card  Even saying she doesnt like her name because Tara was the name of a plantation.

Chris in Family Guy. Or Meg.

Any family member of a Doctor Who companion who pops up regularly. I remember the old days when we just had the companion, instead of being forced to endure their boyfriend/girlfriend/mother/grandfather. I found Rose's mum and boyfriend particularly annoying.

Fiona Bruce on the Antiques Roadshow would run anyone a close second. She knows nothing about antiques and apparently, not much more about fashion on some days, but she keeps popping up and can be seen as many as six times in the same show.

Without her almost worthless contributions a couple more of the general public who queue patiently for hours, sometimes in all weathers, might get their stuff on TV, which for me, would be far more interesting than anything she has to say.

No. It's funny because all 6 of those names are first names.
