and which Time War is it referencing?
I would imagine the Last Great Time War (Time Lords versus Daleks).
The very nature of Time Wars is that they mess with time, therefore earlier Time Wars, like the Faction Paradox one featured in the Eight Doctor Adventures novels, probably ceased to have ever existed during the Last Great Time War.
But if other Time Wars ceased to exist then the Last Great Time War would have been simply called The Time War as there would be nothing to compare it too.
"The First And We Hope Only Time War As Far As We Know, Timey Wimey Shenanigans Notwithstanding Which, Let's Face It, Is Quite Likely."
The people carving village war memorials are going to be busy.
This made me literally laugh out loud. Not a quiet chuckle to myself, but a full on guffaw that had my children briefly concerned for my well being.
ithenkyew. *takes bow*
That'll be the hugely traumatic one where the Doctor killed his entire race, the entire Dalek civilization, and everything else that got in the way. Y'know, the one which provided the single most central aspect of backstory for the first five years of Doctor Who.
