I never get scared at films. Don't know why. But a lot of people do. I think the closest I've actually become to being scared was The Blair Witch Project because it reminded me of being out, alone, in the woods. What film gave you the creeps?

Not only for all the scares with the ghosts the girl goes through at random times (particularly the guy in the lift) but also the stay in hospital, having the life-changing operation so she can see, only for her to decide at the end that she's better off blind.
Not to mention the huge disaster at the end.
All those elements to the film not only give me the creeps but made me feel kind of sad and depressed too.
Also, Wait Until Dark for sheer "jump" moments.
the last film to genuinely scare me was The Orphanage I guess.
I was a child though.
Me to when I was a kid but more recently The Strangers dam this has suspense.
hello randy
Also on my 12th birthday I went to watch What Lies Beneath, and I spent most the film hiding behind my mums handbag! It doesn't scare me now though.
That technique is called a 'Lewton Bus', or sometimes just 'Bus'.
It's named after the legendary RKO producer/film maker Val Lewton.
Here is the scene from Cat People where the term came from...

You'll also see from that clip why the term was given that particular name.
The one that stressed me the most is Kairo. It's actually a badly made film (the structure is too fragmented for my taste), but there are some parts that freaked me out. Kiyoshi Kurosawa's films have managed to get under my skin, anyway. Especially Kairo and Cure.
*Dont be afraid of the dark where the monster appears from the bed - covers
*Pans Labrynith - The Cyclops
That got me too, Dynopia. Scary stuff.
