Jesus Franco, whose five decade career as a director, producer and writer spanned the genres from horror to hard-core sex films, died today at the age of 82. His first film was The Awful Dr. Orlof. It is not known if his last film, The Alligator Women was completed.

    I'm not overly keen on his lesbian vampires (or his lesbian anything elses), but Bloody Moon is one of my favourite films :)

    Legend of VHS! :D

    IMDB lists 199 titles as director 1957-2012, that's quite an achievement even for a hack.
