This is a huge draw in the Wembley cinema I work at, you can try a free demonstration in the foyer with two sample seats and a trailer (right now the Planet of the Apes one although Guardians is our current D-Box movie). Last night D-Box was completely sold out.
I love it and turn the seat up to maximum every time I use it, it tends to depend on how well the film utilises it though - the best D-Box experience I had was with Gravity, especially if you raised your feet from the floor as with the 3D you genuinely felt like you were floating. Amazing Spiderman 2 was a good one too, but apparently the recent Transformers used it poorly.
If they have the demo seats, give them a try first and see what you think. Haven't tried it with Guardians yet though it only came out yesterday.
I saw The Dark Knight Rises with D-Box seats. Was pretty good, bit surreal at points with the seat moving about in time with punches etc. Good for plane take off etc. I would give it another go, although I don't see many action films at the cinema.
It was fun and at points felt like a back massage!
I tried the demonstration one at Crawley Cineworld. It was a five minute novelty. It was fun for a few minutes but I dont think I could put up with it for two hours! Think of it like a simulator ride. Great fun for five minutes but you wouldnt want to sit there for two hours!

Just another gimmick that does little to enhance the movie. Like 3D, it will not make a bad movie good.
OK for kids I guess.
If you want to pay more money for an effect akin to someone kicking the back of your chair throughout the movie, be my guest.
Christ. Looks like something off Tomorrow's World from the 70s, which is probably where it belongs.
