Gran needs a new laptop, must be windows 7 and have 15" screen
Only use is email, web and playing solitaire
Can have a netbook as her eyes can do the small screen
Anything under £200 ??
Best I could find was £259

I did a quick search and found a new Windows 7 15.6" laptop for:
£290 - http://www.amazon.co.uk/CQ57-420SA-15-6-inch-Processor-Discrete-Class-Integrated/dp/B00862CIG8/ref=sr_1_43?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1353885377&sr=1-43.

Does it have to be a laptop? How about a samsung tablet if its only for email?
You need to look at a second hand one.
Happy for a referb but not second hand please, couldn't bear the thought of someone else touching it before grandma
I have found a new one for £259 so please no more links that are more expensive

hasn't that got a 11" screen, bit less then what OP was looking for. Also aren't you limited to web based apps ?
I doubt you are going to get brand new under £200
OP, if you care about your Gran, don't buy her a really cheap and nasty laptop which will be really slow and go wrong. Either find some more money or get a good quality "previously loved" one that will perform well.
Or, can you fix/upgrade the old one?
