I know it's meant to be escapist & lightweight but, come on!
No way is Ed personal friends with every celeb. they shoehorn into the show. That was just embarrassing with Snoop last night. "D-O-double jizzle" Stop! god knows what they'll do with Duran Duran. "Yeah, we used to hang out with Gillian and Ed in the 80's" "Simon's Delinda's Godfather"
Nevermind that it was the 2nd part of a crossover with 'Crossing Jordan' and we might never see the first part!

It is escapist & lightweight, but it's entertaining escapist & lightweight.
We are also supposed to swallow the fact that in one street in Manchester in the last year they've had more than the national average of nutters & murderers.
Or that the county (?) of Midsummer is the murder capital of the world.
By rights, if you look at the footage as they show the outside of the hotel, it's right in the middle of the airport.
Just lay back and let it wash over you.
"Ed, this is..
"Robbie! I was great mates with his dad when I was on assignment in Stoke!"
"He'll be plugging his new record as well as singing in the bar later"
"I didn't think things were that bad!"
It could happen.
That explains why i was a little confused!
Another thing that makes me laugth is how Ed, who is 65 years old, often beats up men half his age and twice his size! I know he has CIA training but still!
Either way, great show, lightweight sure but very entertaining to watch for an hour each week.
Snoop Dogg, Black Eyed Peas, Jean Claude Van Dame, Alec Baldwin...............not really A list maybe but i woundn't say they are complete nobodies. Compare these with the "celebrities" in the Big Brother house and they are A list megastars!
I have to say I'm half his age and significantly taller than James Caan but even at 65 I'd be scared sh*tless of him if I saw him in the street
Aaaah ... that does make sense. I wondered if we'd either missed an episode of Las Vegas, or if they'd edited a 2-hour ep down to 1-hour for UK television. But that's makes more sense.
I loooove Las Vegas. The fabulous Josh Duhamel (Leo Dupre, for AMC fans) is wonderful. The whole cast is pretty cool, in fact. Although it took me several weeks to keep all the girls straight!
What's happening with Crossing Jordan? When I was last in the US, they were semi-cancelled or on hiatus or something was up. But I think they came back. Well, they must have. Will we be getting any new eps here in the UK?
I wonder if it has been spoiled by its own popularity (hence and earlier time slot) as it has dumbed down, story lines have been weaker and generally more character based.
However I will still watch it in the hope that it gets better soon.
Me too, I still remember him from being in the God Father - what is worse it is believed he really does have mafia connections. I really wouldn't want to upset James Caan in Los Vegas let alone in real life.
I think it's back to normal in the US now. The show was in a kind of limbo at one stage because the lead actress was off on pregnancy leave but NBC seem to be airing regularly now.
Could I correct that with best... .
Well I've been to Vegas a few times, and everything is kinda in the middle of everything else, so thats correct! It IS really in the middle of the desert, so the airport is close to the casinos and all the other stuff.
Proving that Sky really is worth £18 a month. Honest.
