How to find your own number on 02 (no credit on sim)

I'm selling a friends phone and I have a sim card that's been in the cupboard for a while so I thought I'd sell the sim with it.

I know it's got a really good number like 07XXX 787979 or something, but there's no credit on it.

Is there a code you can put in to display the number? Also can you unlock these easily - I've looking on the net, but no luck so far.

I bought it for £25 to sell on Ebay in the hope of making a profit !! fingers crossed.

Thanks

What phone is it because most phones have some sort of option for displaying the phone number of the sim, if the sim supports it and i know O2 sims do.

Im not sure on that one, it might be in contacts somewhere then again it might be in one of the menus... It tends to differ across different makes and models :)

You might want to make sure it's still active.

If you've not used it for a while it could've been deactivated.
