So when I post to this thread, over 1 million people will read it?

Aww, if only I had something worthwhile to say!

Anyway, I know this is the F1 thread but I thought it'd be helpful
if we listed all the other coverage of Motorsport there is out there that is confirmed or still awaiting a deal:

BTCC-Confirmed for ITV4 for eternity (or as long as the arrangement is profitable for both parties anyway :D )

INDYCAR: No confirmed deal as yet though work is underway according to trusted thread source J.P. (;) )

F3: Whatever remnants of a British series will hopefully be filmed and shown on Channel 4/Motors as in previous years, though this is far from confirmed.

British GT: A Boom year, highlights on C4/Motors as usual with the potential for some live races too, so goes the rumour mill

V8 Supercars: Motors TV as always, no word on live Bathurst at this early stage though

NASCAR: Nationwide series on Motors TV, assuming Cup will remain on obscure channel Premier Sports with 1 hour highlights....somewhere...

GP2/GP3 Sky Sports F1, no word on if any highlights will show up on other channels though.

    F2: It's dead Jim

F4: No official word yet, however Motors TV's logos have been seen on the chasis at the Autosport show so it is likely it will be shown here, if not anywhere else.

Renault World Series: Would assume the same deal with Eurosport remains, can't ever be sure until the last minute with that channel though

WTCC: Smart move allowing a TV channel part ownership of the series, FIA. Even if it is one that hates Motorsport, it's the one series they move mountains to show.
    On Eurosport as ever.

DTM: Yawning already thinking about it, but ESPN is likely to be showing this again.

Superstars: Motors TV seems quite behind this underrated series. Would expect to see this here again.

If anyone has any confirmed news about the series in question (or any more I should add to the list) please do update me.
This is mainly for my benefit to prevent me panicing in the off season about series I enjoy not coming back to my screen but hopefully it might benefit a few others too.

F3: Motors will show 3 of the 4 races LIVE with highlights as usual.

Renault 3.5: If I remember Martin Haven said that Eurosport will show every race live in 2013. I highly doubt they will though, 2012 it was the best series with the poorest TV 'live' coverage

GP3: Motors did have highlights of the series last year.... perhaps they will again, I'll be watching it live though, so they might aswell not bother.

AutoGP: the former A1GP ferrari cars should have much better coverage on Eurosport this year (providing cricket, darts, snooker, rugby, football, bikes, skiing, luge, international roly poly down a hill isn't on)

What, thats uniques? 1.38 million people have viewed this thread at least once?

Not unique, its total, so includes repeat visitors.

Only DS themselves would know the unique numbers.

To add to those rights, on two wheels:

MotoGP/Moto2/Moto3 - BBC Two and Eurosport

    WSBK - Eurosport

    BSB - Eurosport, ITV4 highlights(?)

Toned down Formula Palmer Audi as Palmer aims for the "first step out of karting" market this time, instead of the "last step before F1" area he tried last time.

I'm sticking with FFord tbh, history, tradition, and I know they slapped stupid wings on the cars, but live on ITV4 supporting the BTCC cannot be argued with ;)

Is there any set times for the testing updates on SSN? I want to watch them but I don't want any of the football drivel.

Surely Indycar would pop up somewhere, even if its not Sky Sports.

No, your best bet is either Sky+'ing the entire day, or hoping extended clips pop up somewhere.

Looking forward to the new season.

Is the "a European race" likely to go ahead, and if so where?

RedBull launch is LIVE on SkySports News today, Cheesey Cheeser Craig :D is on the scene
I don't know if it was related to Red Bull's strict/ridiculous 'no photographs' policy but the live launch didn't materialise unfortunately. However there was a good interview with Ted a few hours afterwards outside the Red Bull factory which is on the website now. As for Craig, he's still well behind the excellent Rachel Brookes in presenting & interviewing ability as well as F1 knowledge and made more frustrating when Sky have the very capable David Garrido at their disposal. Craig's presenting at the Lotus launch in particular was unbearable.

Has there been any more news on which channel in the UK will show Indycar this season?
None as yet but Tomas Scheckter has said he has a TV contract that is "UK IndyCar related but international as well". Read into that what you will.

GP2/GP3 Sky Sports F1, no word on if any highlights will show up on other channels though.
With 13 out of 20 drivers in F1 this season set to be from GP2/GP3, I really hope Sky up their promotion & commitment of these series' in 2013. Not holding my breath on that one though.

    On Eurosport as ever.

They are also promoting the ETCC this year, so expect them to continue showing that too.
DTM: Yawning already thinking about it, but ESPN is likely to be showing this again.

    Highlights probably on ITV4 again.

ooooh, I thought I'd missed it on SSN. craig did a preview to the launch outside the gates could have swore he said the launch was live on SSN. meh anywho.

yea, agree while he's a good reporter, Rachel is a favoured choice by many people

Legard is as dull in a plain Interview as his commentary!

Ouch! the BBC live schedule looks poor this year missing out the first few races, I'll make do with a sports stream online for the Sky races.

Indycar would go nicely on the red button on BBC or maybe another FTA channel could pick it up? ITV4? CH5? either live or highlights form?

It reminds me that I was always jealous of Channel 5 when it launched because it used to show full Champcar races in the overnight sports slot. Not live, but in full the monday evening after each race.
Hosted by Gamesmaster's Dominik Diamond, no less.

Indeed my first ever experience of Champcar came from their end of season review of the 2000 season shown over that year's Christmas period...*good times*

I wonder if there's any tiny chance of that happening again, or has their overnight slot been lost to casino games and titillation?

Surely that is just a formality though? The deal seems to be working great guns for both parties.
Though I imagine with this year looking a good one perhaps both parties will enter into negotiation thinking they are in a position of strength....which could be a problem.

How many rounds is the ETCC this year?

It was the same last year, the first two races being highlights on the Beeb.

I suggest you search around for a few different streams just in case the one you use starts playing up, I used one for the first two races last year and they kept failing.
