After seeing that chump Lemon prancing around, I guess Sir David just lost the will to live.

So glad that Aljazeera picked up where the BBC foolishly left off in 2005. HIs news/current affairs progs on there were excellent as were the series of interviews he did, a new series of which is currently showing, I think...

    Sad news. Consumate pro.

Ironically also thought of him last night when the new Through The Keyhole was on. Strange how these things occur sometimes.

Oh wow, what a shock, although he did seem a little doddery over recent years. A tremendous talent in the world of TV and a fine exponent of the art of satire. Back in the 60's I used to persuade my parents to let me watch TWTWTW and The Frost Report, as he fascinated me so much.
RIP and my sympathy to his family.

A sad loss to broadcasting. As well as a great interviewer, he was an extremely entertaining interviewee.

RIP. Condolences to his family and friends.

It's curious that what most people here remember Sir David Frost for was Through The Keyhole. :( I think he had a bit more gravitas than that.

He pioneered the tv debate style prog on ITV here in the 60's as well as hosting the hugely popular TW3 on BBC a few years earlier where he made his tv debut. Then there was his Frost Report comedy prog which helped launch the tv careers of the 2 Ronnies and John Cleese. He was even the main guy who pioneered and presented Breakfast TV in the UK

    RIP DF.
