Recommendations for a 27" monitor

Hi all,

I'm looking to replace my 17" CRT monitor with something more up to date, ideally a 27" widescreen LED.

I've a Windows 8 computer with HDMI connectivity. A touch screen isn't an optional (not sure if they exist for this size anyway) because of the cost, so I may get a trackpad to replace my mouse.

I'm looking to spend around £300.

Any recommendations for a decent screen?

Thanks in advance.

Yep, I have the 2412M hanging off the Mac mini - it's a great display with a pro quality rise'n'fall stand which is solid. More importantly its 16:10, which is harder to get these days esp. in places like PC World.

The only downside is that the matte anti-glare coating is, well, a traditional anti-glare coating in that it lends a kind of 'grain' to the image. It's exactly the same as the 4:3 Dell monitors we use in the office - no bad thing, they're good displays.
