The drama, which has been on the air since 2008, will leave fans with a present in the form of its final episode. The producers filmed it to work as a series finale in the event the show was not picked up for next season - which it turns out was a smart move and will give longtime fans some proper closure.
I always told my wife if they made a new show with Elliot, Parker and Hardison I would watch it. Nate and Sophie were not decent enough characters for me.
Elliot was my favourite, but I love Christian Kane so it's a given.

They made an episode with just those 3 in. It was pretty good.
To be honest I am just watching it for the sake of it now, it has become too cheesy and unbelievable. Just a poor imitation of Hustle now. Think they are right to cancel it.

Poor imitation of Hustle ?!
Completely disagree with you there. I found the Hustle team too darn smug with themselves to be able to enjoy any of the eps.
I enjoyed leverage. i just think it ran it's course.
Methinks Leverage simply ran out of ideas.
The early seasons, though contained the odd duff eps, were crammed full of eps full of joy and awesomeness. But as the seasons progressed, though there still were some great eps, these were few and far between (that's a phrase, right ?!).
(kinda like Penn and Tellers Bull$hit show)
I think they were right to draw things to a close and am chuffed they were able to end the series with a fitting finale.
(unlike P+T B$ Show)

Hardison, Eliot and Parker. If they made a spin off with just those three I'd definitely watch. And if Jim Sterling could appear that would be even better.
I don't know what UK pace is up to, so just in case...
The episode in the final season with Eliot, Hardison and Parker was excellent, and the final episode did leave it open for a spin off series, so fingers crossed

I agree, well partly - I did like Hustle, but much preferred Leverage. I started watching Leverage thinking it would be a poor imitation of Hustle, but found it was actually much more enjoyable. The Leverage team are far better both as a team and individually and, as you say, far less smug. And they very rarely stole from or conned any innocent people, unlike Hustle who were constantly stealing people's phones, clothes, credit cards, money, dogs (okay the dog was only once and they returned it, but still...).
OMG there are some lovely photos of Beth on the internet.... if you google 'Beth Riesgraf - Me In My Place photoshoot' you should find them.
The MiMP shoots are usually quite stunning and I did see someone had posted that shoot over at superiorpics - unfortunately I'm unable to open the link as interneting for sexy laydees is a big no-no right now .
[snip] And they (the Leverage peeople) very rarely stole from or conned any innocent people, unlike Hustle who were constantly stealing people's phones, clothes, credit cards, money, dogs (okay the dog was only once and they returned it, but still...).
Exactly, iiuc the Hustle people did it for personal gain, whereas the Leverage people (after Artison(?) made them millions/billions thru some computer trickerie) went after bad people who had wronged good people and who thus deserved being taken down, hard.

Same here, the "smugness" of the people on Hustle was the reason I didn't bother to watch much of the last three seasons.

Love her character and the way she can do so much with her body.
Nate's old "friend" Jim Sterling is good as well

btw: Parker was my fav too
I know, I saw all the episodes. Which makes me want a series with those 3 even more.

I can't link to them as I'm not sure DS will allow it, but if you google 'Beth Riesgraf - Me In My Place photoshoot' you should find them.
