What a fantastic film. An absolute joy to watch :)

Possibly better than Toy Story for me. Will definitely go and see it in 3D as well.

For those of you who have seen the trailers, this isn't really a spoiler, but i'll tag it just in case.
The scenes with all of the other game characters like the pacman ghost, Bowser from Mario e.t.c. are only at two points of the film - i won't say which :)

I want to see this film! I'm wondering when I will be able to go to a cinema that isn't full of kids though...

Well there are "other" methods of watching it at the moment, but then that's really no surprise - if Disney are going to wait 3 months between the US and UK release dates, they've only got themselves to blame if people watch it by those "other" methods.

Saw it at a preview screening, and you're spot on, really enjoyable and some top voice actors in there - worthy to be alongside the likes of Toy Story.

Not really. That's just a rubbish excuse to mitigate your theft, but that's by the by...

To the rest of us: can't wait for this movie. Not long now.

Of course you didn't say it, but of course you did do it. You just happen to roll up with a thread about the film on the same day a screener's released, and there's no connection? Come on :D

(that's not to say I'm bothered either way, it's certainly not "theft" by any reasonably intelligent person's honest definition of the word)

It was out internationally in November, he could've seen it in the States and waited to post or he could've been to press/preview screening...

So, what, you wait nearly a week to comment and just by pure happenstance choose the same day a DVD quality screener goes up on the internet? Just being silly now. There's no harm in admitting something so trivial.

Cineworld have also been doing special early screenings for their Unlimited customers.

Well maybe, just maybe I don't run to Digital Spy to log everything I actually do.

Maybe noticing the screener had been leaked was the reason I wanted to start a thread ?

Would you like to see the email I sent to the mother of my two nephews asking if they were available on the day of the screening ?

Or would you prefer to talk to them directly ?

I'm sure I can arrange it - it might take some organising, since they're still at school during the week, but i'm quite sure we can work something out.

This is what is known as "protesting too much". Why are you so bothered if I don't believe you?

No, it's known as being "pissed off". I tend to have an aversion to people smugly telling me that i've done something I haven't when they don't know me from adam.

So you acknowledge you pirate films but you're so pissed off about me saying you've pirated this particular one when you claim you haven't? Seems a bit petty.

As I said, I have an aversion to people smugly telling me I've done something I haven't - that's all.

If this film is mainly meant to be about old school games, with Pac-Man etc, whats the updated CGI Bowser doing there? :p

I really want to go see this - the only problem is, no one I know wants to!

I have to problems going to the cinema by myself - it's just seeing a kids film myself, you know?

That is explained in the movie. Without giving too much away, how the characters look in their own arcade games is very different to how they look in their "real" lives outside of the games. I can't explain it any other way really.

Brilliant film though. I agree, it's right up there with Toy Story. I probably enjoyed it more though.

I've seen many kids films before on my own. really can't see a problem with it.

The movie was good but I was slightly concerned about levels of product placement in the movie. I don't normally have an issue with that but the placements were extensive, blatant and for unhealthy products. I don't think movies aimed at kids should be allowed to include product placement.
