Just wondering if anyone else on here is a fan?
I have all her albums, singles and remixes.
"Main event" is a choooooon
A real shame the singles never get a proper release here. She never really does any promotion for them which again is a shame as i think she can really compete with whats in the charts right now.

Lick it lollipop is another fave although it does sound an awful lot like beyonces run the world
I can do without her ballads, but when she's camping it up dance-style, she's a fierce queen.
Totally agree. There are some solid pop tunes on
there but i dont like the ballads.
"Cover girl, put some bass in your walk! Side to side, let your whole body talk"
You'll love them. "Main Event" is my favourite off the champion album.
"The beginning" "glamazon" and "i bring the beat" are my favourites off the glamazon album.
She has a new album out "born naked" at the end of the month. I cannot wait
season 6 of drag race has premiered early (although they cut the end off, the charismatic unique nerve-filled talented sons-a-bitches) and there was a song for the runway segment by rupaul with the hook 'sissy that walk', it sounded fabulous and i assume it's from her new album. i gagged.
my all time favourite rupaul songs are main event (my ultimate favourite, the 80s pop remix is great too), champion, glamazon, cover girl, supermodel and off her first album, a shade shady (now prance).
and yes, the high NRG, euro camp, amyl nitrate fuelled dancefloor fillers are infinitely better than the ballads.
Guuuuurl the new album is EVERYTHING. "Sissy that walk" is a already a stone cold classic.
There are 2 ballads on the album "can i get an amen" with martha wash and "let the music play" with michelle visage.
Surprisingly i'm liking the ballads this time around.
This album deserves to be heard and promoted as it is pure pop magic. The producer lucian piane is certainly one to watch.
I read an interview in the guardian with Rupaul where she said that she makes no money from the music and mainstream radio is locked up. That is a real shame.
BUY THE ALBUM
Oh god! I've fallen over in front of people before and it's so embarrassing. Doing it on stage must be so much worse though!
Youuuuuuu betta WERK
Out of curiosity, does it genuinely top the one and only Divine's
My car is by Ferrari and my body's Jack La Lanne
My clothes are by Armani and my hair is by Elaine
Tiffany and Cartier are telling me the time
This native love is restless and I'm just not satisfied
And I'll never get enough
Of that native lo-hooove
For hi NRG, kinky booted fabulousness?
Divine is in a league of her own of course.
Its a shame Ru doesn't get any radio play over here or in the states as there are a lot of radio friendly singles on her albums
It needs to be released as a single
That is a TUNE! So is 'Dance With Me' - if they were songs by mainstream acts like Rihanna etc. they'd be straight to no.1.
It's who u r now, not how good you are. Must say Ru's album is really good!
