This is why I love Gaz. He does things like this quietly. If her sister hadn't tweeted the pictures, the press wouldn't have known about it.

GARY Barlow shares a cuppa with terminally-ill Steph Knight — and makes one of her dying wishes come true.
Steph, 21, has just months to live because of an incurable bone cancer she has been fighting for four years.
She has compiled a bucket list of 50 things she wants to do in the last few months of her life — including sharing a cup of tea with Gary.
The Take That star called at her home in Braughing, Herts., and sang ‘Back For Good’ to her in her living room.
Delighted Steph said: “Gary was a really lovely man and I’m very grateful that he came.
“It was all a bit surreal and a bit weird to see him in the living room. He sang Back for Good.
“A lot of artists have help with their singing and their natural voices aren’t great, but he was a genuinely good singer.”
Steph, a former teaching assistant, has already completed half her bucket list with the help of her family and friends and some famous faces.
Gary’s visit was arranged thanks to star Amanda Holden who has been friends with the family since meeting through the Willow Foundation charity.

That's why I love him too:)
Robbie sent her a message, but Gary actually took the time to go and see her. And he was lovely with the baby in his arms.
However, well done Gary!
I've seen those photos:)
It took me by surprise too that he went to see her. His fans had tweeted him for some time about Stephanie and he never said anything, so I eventually assumed that either he didn't see the tweets or that he was too busy to do something. So, when out of the blue Stephanie posted those pictures, the surprise was even bigger and better. He didn't go with a cameraman following him, he didn't dress fancy in case he got photographed, he didn't even comb his hair much:))
I hesitated registering on this forum precisely because of this kind of attitude. he's one of the few decent celebrities left and he doesn't deserve any of the stick he's getting. It's the newspapers that often bring his name up and make up stories about him to get people to talk, but he rarely does something to draw attention upon himself. Occasional TV appearances (apart from the X Factor, of course) and always work-related and his solo tour, that's all. he's very private and keeps away from scandals and the media are trying to change this perception of him, by bringing his name up non-stop.
It's really nice to meet another fan of Gary. I noticed that his hair didn't look as styled as it normally does and he just wore ordinary clothes in those photos which just shows he only did it because he's such a kind man. A lot of people who have a problem with him on here think he's boring but I don't think he is and even if he was I'd rather have a lovely kind and generous man like Gary than someone that only cared for themselves
I totally agree I think he's really funny, I love his sense of humour
