As the future of the Olympic Stadium has now been decided, what will be the true legacy of the 2012 Olympics?

I reckon,

Leyton Orient to drop down a league or two

More acceptance of disability - in that it relates to normal people who happen to have a disability. This isn't down to the paralympics as such, but through subsequent appearances on general news programmes as interviewees, or on A Question of Sport. Also, The Last Leg on Channel 4 - a highlight of the paralympic coverage, with its own legacy, another series, after the games had finished.

    Recognition of paralympians is certainly one of the best things that came out of last year.

    West Ham will see the stadium won't fall into disuse, but seriously it showed people that there was more to celebrity than reality show contestants and made stars of previously almost unknown people like Jade Jones and Gemma Gibbons, real celebrities with real talent. Also it proved that we could host a fantastic games and walk away with 29 gold medals.
