I have only discovered this week that The Royal is being shown on ITV3 at around 6.55am and 2.10pm on ITV3 on Mondays-Fridays as well as a Saturday double-bill.
Saturdays can throw the schedule out a bit but usually the lunchtime episode is repeated early the following morning.
As I usually prefer other interests on Sundays I never saw The Royal first time around. I was curious to see it now having taken a liking to Michelle Hardwick's new Emmerdale character Vanessa. Coincidentally, I knew the actor who plays her dad, Michael Starke, as Sinbad from Brookside and a shorter-term Corrie character!
I like the instrumental version of Somebody Help Me at the end of each episode.
