Ben Fogle is meant to be on Loose Women tomorrow and Janet Street-Porter has been one of the panellists this week.

I wonder if she'll subject him to her boring, reverse snobbery, class-warfare rants on that too, or whether the producers will be sensible enough to give her the day off?

She was quite rude to him on Room 101 for no apparent reason other than the massive chip she's carrying on her shoulder.

And I'm so glad Greg Davies gave her some jip, especially when she was banging on about how she's a pensioner but wouldn't ever expect him to stand up and let her sit down on public transport and Greg just said "Well, thank you, Janet. I wouldn't"! I was in stitches.

I'm sure Janet thinks that people will see the funny side of all the grief she dishes out, and not take offense, but the difference is that her comments are always tinged with genuine bitterness and arrogance.

Paloma Faith - she's actually quite a good singer but I'm not liking her on this. I can see Deborah Meaden isn't terribly impressed either - smiling through gritted teeth.

I'm finding Deborah a little too much on this, Paloma's mad as a box of frogs - I don't usually like her but I'm finding her quite endearing so far

I've never bought or worn those either but I can imagine their too hot like she said - you'd end up trudging around with really sweaty feet...ew.

She's spot on about FSOG. On purely a written language level, it's one of the worst books i've ever picked up. The author needed to be given a thesaurus for Christmas.

A woman where I work got on my train - well she got on in a different compartment but worked her way through the carriage where I got on - and sat opposite me. She got out 50 Shades of Grey.

It is quite strange knowing a woman you know in passing is basically reading porn opposite you.

I thought that about Uggs too and it's what put me off buying a pair.

Then people at work convinced me to get a pair one winter and I have to say that they're brilliant (well, mine are Emus, which came before Uggs but they're the same thing) - very comfortable, very warm, but your feet don't sweat at all because it's sheepskin, not man-made materials.

They do make you walk more slouchy though.

Totally agree about FSOG - it's absolutely dire, and the most unsexiest 'erotic' book I've ever read.

And the author can't write for toffee

Just watched this - best one yet!

I haven't laughed so much at a "panel show" in ages. Perfect balance of guests, even Deborah Meaden had her funny moments.

    Brilliant!

I've always liked her on chat shows, and she was on top form last night.....she can sing too.

I'm another one who can't stand Lush.

And one of my nieces gets me their stuff as a present every Christmas ... I don't have the heart to tell her it goes straight in the bin as I doubt I'd even be able to give it away.

I get sinus and headache problems every time I walk past one of their shops - working in there would be my idea of hell.

I thought she was great. I agreed with a couple of her choices as well. Jobsworths..one of my pet hates, and Fifty Shadss Of Grey. If women want to read that kind of erotica, go for something like The Story of O, at least it's well written.

Emus? does Rod Hull come with them too? :D (sorry, couldn't resist!). Thats good to know they don't feel too sweaty but they still seem pretty expensive.

I'd heard the same thing that the writing is pretty poor quality, though I've never read it. Its not the sort of book or series that suits everyone, yet a friend on twitter suggested a few months ago that I get it to brighten my mood

Text speak makes me cringe a bit, I get frustrated enough with myself when I end sentences with words such as 'like' or 'but' (like 'I've no idea but.'), reading a bunch of shortened text messages doesn't really appeal to me lol (though I realise thats probably only part of the story).

I walked past a branch of Lush this morning - it looks like they've changed their logo, it was a more formal dark blue/black and white colour I think? the green and yellow circles seemed to have gone...however, I did notice there were two members of staff standing conspicuously next to a display - presumably waiting to pounce on anyone daft enough to come close to them lol.

I thought it was the weakest of the series. Jason Manford and Paloma Faith were OK, Deborah was a waste of a seat and I've heard the criticism of people in lifts and Fifty Shades of Grey many times before (whereas I've, unsurprisingly, never heard of Greg Davies' feud with a Spanish man!).

I'd never heard of them until they were mentioned on this show. But then, I suppose it's because I'm a bloke... ;)
