I thought it was a bit out of place when Marco lovingly prepared his rabbit stockpot and then added at the end his magic touch... a chicken stock cube?!
All became clear when just before the ad break, Knorr declared themselves sponsors of the 'Great British Feast'.:rolleyes:

We use a chicken stock cube along with a vegetable one when making rabbit stew.
This will be going into a stew shortly!
I'm really enjoying this .. WELL DONE ITV !! (it's not the usual dross)
Haven't bothered with this series of the F word, as Gordon becomes a parody of himself. I think Marco is great conveying his passion for food.
Glad Marco is doing more TV.
Won't watch the man on principle though.
There was one F-Word from him.
what a f---in' liberty!!! :eek::eek::D
I couldn't stand him in Hell's Kitchen and hated the mysoginistic mind games he played ( and probably still plays).
He always said that chefs who appeared on TV were selling out and what is he doing now?????
Will have to see if/when it's repeated.
I liked the bit with the donkey.
He's been there, done that, won his Michelin stars and obviously feels cooking isnt something he needs to treat so seriously anymore.

It is Hampshire just over the border of West Berkshire.
Great series.
Actually, the pub's website (linked to by DanLam1) does give its address as However, as you say, both Highclere and the pub are clearly over the border in Hampshire, so the website is wrong...
