Just came across this wonderfully accurate photo on one of my friend's walls.
I can only imagine the person who originally wrote it has been brought up on a diet of The Sun, and so has a completely distorted view of how our benefits system works. *Sigh* Facebook never fails to disappoint me.

Judging by the nationalities used I wouldn't be surprised if they are asylum seekers who are therefore NOT allowed to work in the country, and as they will be running from a terrible life back home they probably have little funds to support themselves while there claim is being assessed. But why should facts get in the way of a Sun inspired xenophobic graphic to share ad-nausea on Facebook.

The person who wrote it has used the country name "England" and then joined it with the Union Flag (i.e. the flag of the United Kingdom), if they can't even get such basics right the chances are the rest of that "cutting" is just as inaccurate.
WARNING!!! FACEBOOK HAS CHANGED THEIR PRIVACY SETTINGS ONCE MORE!!! DUE TO THE NEW “GRAPH APP” ANYONE ON FACEBOOK (INCLUDING OTHER COUNTRIES) CAN SEE YOUR PICTURES, LIKES, AND COMMENTS. The next 2 weeks I will be posting this, and please once you have done it please post DONE! Those of you who do not keep my information from going out to the public, I will have to DELETE YOU! I want to stay PRIVATELY connected with you. I post shots of my family that I don't want strangers to have access to!!! This happens when our friends click "like" or "comment"... automatically, their friends would see our posts too. Unfortunately, we cannot change this setting by ourselves because Facebook has configured it that way. PLEASE place your mouse over my name above (DO NOT CLICK), a window will appear, now move the mouse on “FRIENDS" (also without clicking), then down to "Settings", click here and a list will appear. REMOVE the CHECK on "LIFE EVENTS" and "COMMENTS & LIKES". By doing this, my activity among my friends and family will no longer become public. Now, copy and paste this on your wall. Once I see this posted on your page, I will do the same
I just had that one too about privacy settings too.
Those settings have been in place since Timeline was introduced, ignore it and see if the person does delete you (I bet not)
By the way it does not appear to be the case anyway, I've logged in as my other self and I can't see me.:D

How much of that is true?
Are people just thick? Firstly, this is a load of crap, if your privacy settings are set so that only your friends can see things, then only your friends will see things. Secondly, actually look what that person has asked people to do. All this will do is stop the person that's done it from seeing those things. If you do this to a friend then you will no longer see their statuses etc. In effect by posting the above the person is potentially blocking themselves from their own friends. Those settings are there so you can control how much information you see from your friends, so basically if you've got an annoying friend who posts crap you can choose not to see their crap. Which, whilst not being what the OP intended, might be a good idea if they post crap like this.
OK we've had plenty of working class chav p**s-takes here, so now for a more middle-class one.
A girl I know from uni is constantly going on and on about how busy she is with her amazing job, fantastic social life, holidays in the Maldives etc etc. We all know the type. One of those who rely on getting validation from others in order to feel good about themselves. I mean good for her but it's 3 to 5 statuses per day.
Monday "had such a busy day at work, off to the gym!" then two hours later "Whoops! Had a glass of wine instead!"
Tuesday "I seem to be in the winebar again instead of the gym! I am sooooooooooo bad!!!!!!" Then she posted a photo of a (small) glass of red wine.
Just now: "Oooooooooops a daisy me! In a bar yet again!! I need help for my alcohol problems! What must my personal trainer THINK of me!?"
"So I just walked past a church in ********* that said Love your neighbour as yourself. So I guess that means I have to hate my neighbour and slash their wrists then"
My favourite ray of sunshine post.
I think my worst one (not by me, you understand) is "got my period. Kind of brownish. "
I HATE it when people (teenagers infact) continuously post about how they love someone SOOOOOoooooooOOOOOOOOOOO much (even though they have only been together for a couple of months after getting back together, after breaking up, after being together for a couple of months...) and they update it every 5 minutes dedicating parts of songs, poems and heart felt drivel to "the love of their lives"...  This includes someone in my family, so I can't block them lol But I just want to say shut the f**k up some times :rolleyes: It was sweet to start with, but now its just to much lol...They will break up again eventually and hopefully grow up and THEN they will know what true love is, and it certainly isn't dedicating parts of sh*te songs to one another over Facebook...:rolleyes:

There's a woman I used to work with on my Facebook, she's lovely (if overbearing) IRL but on Facebook she's always sharing that 'share if you love your daughter' and 'thinking of my loved ones in heaven' crap. One thing really made me facepalm the other day. She shared a picture of 'lucky money Buddha'.
Lucky. Money. Buddha.
Yeah, Buddhism, that materially greedy, superstitious religion
Also whats with teenagers putinggggg extraaaaaa letterzzzzz on the end of every wordddddddd? Loooooool!
So few ****s are given that they can't even be bothered to take their fingers off the keyboard at the end of words y0!
The pout thing is definitely wierd though. Why do you want to make yourself look like a duck. It is not attractive.
I wouldn't let my kids on facebook or internet sites like that, especially at the ages I see some of my friends / relatives let their kids on. You lose complete control of what they are being exposed to.
Did the whole sighing and eye rolling earlier. I wrote on here months ago about someone who keeps complaining about her kids, and all they do is this that or the other. Someone considerably braver than me told her to pack it in and found himself deleted from her friends list. I'd 'hidden' her, but obviously this guy ran out of patience with her. The whole argument was visible and kinda wince-worthy.
Comments
I've seen an altered version which is much closer to the truth.
Another one doing the rounds is this...
http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10151447700583653&set=a.10150810710418653.468169.651733652&type=1&theater
Is bringing out all the closet racists on my FB anyway.
"If we get 1,000,000 likes dad said we can have a puppy"
"If I get 500k likes, I'll do [insert something 'hilarious']"
"This little girl has cancer. How many likes can she get to show her that people care"
Etc...
Etc...
Etc...
I saw this version first A tad more accurate.
A bit more realistic, yes

He has now changed his profile pic to one of him in costume.
Scary.
Who did he go as, Frank-N-Furter?
Yep!:D
