When I say old videos, they don't have to be ancient, but those that really stand out for you.
To start off, here's the lovely Adam Ant

And the Madonna classic

Although the song is older I think this is an 80s video...........the clay modelling is terrific............

Aretha Franklin (being awesome in 1968 )
It's just so.....lush
Let's Go To Bed - The Cure Hard to choose just one Cure vid, but plumped for this one 'cos of Lol's fantastic dance moves.
Great song, but pretty forgettable video. I prefer this little known John Lydon project from the 80's:

Another good video from the same period is this:
Art of Noise - Close to the Edit
And a good video from 1990 set on top of the WTC, listen to the first 2 lines  spooky or what?
Depeche Mode - Enjoy the Silence
Fleetwood Mac - Big love
Men without Hats - Safety Dance

Here's one of my favourites, Chistopher Walken: with Fatboy Slim's "Weapon of Choice"

He's even got Simon Cowell's high-waisted trousers:D
Quality can be measured different ways and production standards in the 80s for example produced many great videos - some of which are listed here. And I'm great fan of Mr Lydon and PiL.
But the impact of the Pretty Vacant video cannot be overestimated. I doubt if there is any artist who could make the same impact today as The Pistols did by just being themselves in that video.
Remember the 70s was not as video immersed we we are nowadays. When that video appeared on TOTP and the power and the look...Sid Vicious and Johnny Rotten staring in that nihilistic manner.
Forgettable is the one thing it is not.
Sledgehammer/Big Time/Don't Give Up by Peter Gabriel (and Kate Bush)
Heart/It's A Sin/Always On My Mind by PSB
Enjoy The Silence/Personal Jesus by Depeche Mode
These are just a few videos I love, there's tons more but listing them all would take me a month of Sundays!
I'm sure many people will disagree, but I love both the song & the video.

Take On Me (Aha)
Rough Boy (ZZ Top)
Let's Dance (Bowie)

David Bowie - Underground

Arcadia (Duran Duran offshoot) - The Flame

Kate Bush - Experiment IV

Talking Heads - Wild Wild Life

Grace Jones - I'm Not Perfect
That must have been a special TV performance of that song as the only video of that song that I'm familiar with is this one

Although the video you posted did remind me of this George Harrison video from 1987 - Got My Mind Set On You

I used to watch that video over and over as a young kid (mum had taped it off the TV). Love the song too.
