I noticed a trailer has appeared for The Great Gatsby - release date 25 December 2012 (US). There's no trailer for Dredd - out September 23 (US). Not even a teaser poster.
The film stars Karl Urban as Judge Dredd, the toughest lawman of them all. The film has been described as "Dirty Harry meets District 9." It could be cool. But without a trailer no-one is going to know about it or be interested. Zero marketing so far. Well done,Dredd film makers for messing this up big time!

It's possible the film isn't that good hence the lack of any trailer. Someone suggested the delay is due to the plot being very similar to The Raid.
I'm taking a wild guess the trailer will appear next month.
I went up to London yesterday to see the completed Dredd film. I've had reservations about certain aspects of it, and made them plain to the team at DNA. All but one of them - a little quibble at the beginning - have been addressed. And what a lot they've added. Music is on the button. SFX are excellent. Filming is impressive. I've not seen a modern 3-D movie before but I like it. I found myself reaching out trying to touch things that were dancing before my eyes. Karl is a great Dredd and Olivia gets Anderson completely. This is Dredd as it should be done - true to character, visceral, unrelentingly violent (but not off-puttingly so). It will open, I believe, sometime in September. No doubt you'll let me know what you think when you've seen it, but this has my recommendation.
It will be out in September!
Did you SEE Stallone's "Judge Dredd"!?!
It HAD to be re-done, for the ages, to wipe out the memory of that abomination!
I'm glad it's been done. I hope it's a situation comparable to "Rise of the Planet of the Apes", as that made me forget about Tim Burton's awful re-make ....
Well, check this out...

What, it's a classic.
The lawwwwwwwww.
Not an official poster. The official promotion of this film is rather lacking!
Prepare to be judged, creep. September 7 2012.
Just joking. Yes, it was done with Photoshop. My little piece. I took various elements - some actual photos from the film, some other stuff I took from other sources.
"I AM.........THE LEWWWWWWWWWWWWWWAH!!!"
You mean the comic? Yeah, that was awesome.
The Stallone film, not so much.
The Nostalgia Critic review is classic though.
No, I mean the Stallone film.
It's awesome, apart from Rob Schneider.
