I remember it-mid 1990s. There was a purple guy called Clifford hosting it. It wasn't
    bad!

Yeah I remember it. Clifford seems to have disappeared from the newer productions as well as Seymour the Elephant who appeared with Pepe the Shrimp. Bobo the bear was also a Muppet's Tonight alumnus.

It wasn't that bad from what I remember. Shame they don't repeat it.

    EDIT: Isn't the internet great?

    Season 1:

Yep...seems a long time ago, but remember really enjoying it. The Bear was the Security Guard and used to crack me up. Seem to remember Pierce Brosnan dressed in a giant lobster outfit. Or was it a shrimp? I was NOT on medication. :p

Edit. Or indeed a prawn. Ta, LudwigVonDrake. I wasn't having a flashback. Phew. ;)

Given that there's a second movie in the works, it'd be great if they resurrected the show. Imagine the guest list today...

    Doubt Disney would though.

Friday nights on BBC ONE in 1996 before TOTP.

In fact it gave TOTP an extra 5 minutes temporarily as it was only 25 minutes long!

    "I'm Seymour"
    "I'm Pepe"
    "We're two of a kind"
    "I'm a little forward"
"and i've got a big behind"

    :D (from memory too)

Thanks to him I always think of Tony Bennett by his canned pasta name... 'Rigatoni Bennett" :D

    Loved this show.

Favourite bits, Pepe's joke "what do you get if you cross an elephant and a rhino" and Whoopi Goldberg doing No Woman, No Cry with the rats, can't hear the song without thinking of that version!
