Just a bit! Latest fevered ponderings: Assistant looks like Satan himself, what with the beard and general menace without getting his hands dirty. For example last week with getting Geoff to do the dirty disposing of Letts-"well, I'm not going to do it myself" or somesuch. And he is of course Assistant. As in as if you'd made a deal with the Devil, he'd be Assisting you. Now, who has made a Deel (sic) with the Devil?

I reckon they'll finish the series with a massive cliffhanger. Then say the new series doesn't start until next year.

Part of me hopes there is no second series as I wouldn't like to think they'd compromise the story by cashing in.

....But I'm really going to miss these characters if tonight is the last we see of them.
