Dead chuffed with that.
I agree, he is very sexy
I still only enjoyed the first film really. The second tried something different (it wasn't a saw film to begin with) but the rest... meh. Still, i saw every one in the cinema so they must have done something right...
I like those odds
PINK BLOOD?!!!!
Really, so you can fool some of the people all of the time!
Indeed. I'll be glad when this unpleasant torture porn franchise finally ends.
2nd one is worth a watch i guess. Decent enough popcorn entertainment. After that it starts getting more and more ridiculous. The guy dies at the end of the 3rd one and continues to execute his plans after death, through his apprentices and what not. Thankfully i don't even remember most of the 4th, and never bothered watching it from the 5th onwards.
The SAW universe suggests the 'murders' started long before the first film. A prequel allows it to have Jigsaw as a main character again. Furthermore, it's a clever way of bringing it back while at the same time maintaining number 7 was the last one. Personally I hope they cut down on the gore and make a psychological horror/thriller like the original.
But the rest were horrible. Really stretching a franchise beyond all realms of common sense.
But then the Fast and Furious franchise basically rebooted itself halfway through and those films are still successful, so if they go down that route here and announce that it's basically starting all over again, they could potentially keep it going into double figures.
I might watch Part 8 since i've seen all of the others, but probably since part 3, I've only really watched them out of a sense of "well i've seen the others.."
you bet..i want the box set for xmas..i like to watch them one each night
But yeah... I'm really not sure about this. Saw 7 was not very good, but it's last 5 minutes are brilliant imo, and nicely tie everything together, feeling like a proper ending.
If you liked the first one then you will like the rest. The second one is my favourite one and i could watch it over and over again. The rest are all entertainment and enjoyable.
I wouldn't say that's a correct assumption at all. The first one is a genuinely interesting thriller with a fair amount of restraint, the sequels are a bunch of increasingly convoluted torture-p0rn films.
