I like this show, but there are two bidders who REALLY wind me up.
One of them, a middle aged white fella who goes "YERRRRP !"
And a young black fella who goes "MONEY !"
So annoying
There is also a young blonde woman called "Brandi" She is FIT !!

T-Money is awesome. He always seems to make good profit on any bins he wins.
Sean Kelly (the host) is the best though. Always sorts out any brawls and gets down to business.
It's 'reality' TV. They are trying to be 'characters'.
I think storage wars and it's like may be the most staged shows of their ilk. The amount of ridiculously valuable stuff they find in those lock ups is just daft.
your mixing up both storage wars and storage hunters,
storage hunters is on dave, with the guy that shouts money
storage wars is on history, with the guy that shouts YUUUUP and has the blonde called Brandi
Yes I got them mixed up
They ARE annoying though aren't they ?
And Brandi IS gorgeous !
I should have titled the thread "Storage Hunters / Wars"
You'll be pleased to hear that he has been dropped by the programme makers due to "artistic differences"
Barry annoys me when he throws things out of the locker without looking and breaking loads of stuff the others could sell.
Dave is suing the production company for unfair dismissal, citing the show is fake.
i believe his claims were dismissed and laura the auctioneer's wife who appears on the show has said he still goes to their auctions.
though have read other things that darrell and the auctioneer are set to be removed as they get paid to much apparently
that was one of Dave's claims, dont know whether its true or not.
yeah Chumlee is not as stupid as he appears to be on the show
Especially Pawn Stars when the history of the items is briefly discussed. Granted a lot of the information they roll off may be common knowledge to the majority of Americans already, but as a Brit I find it interesting.
* Except for Shipping Wars, I've yet to learn anything from Shipping Wars except how really clueless some of them are. Huge flat base of the statue into the wind? Really? Ice melts in 100 degree heat? Really?
I really had no idea that these people are paid (like actors). I genuinely thought it was a real documentary
A lot of the guys on them are pretty wealthy though i think.
You should see Storage Wars: Texas. they have their own Barry in Moe Prigoff, They teamed him up with with a female partner in Mary Padian, someone who takes old furniture and revamps it.
They've also added another female to replace the one from series one in Jenny Grumbles.
Their own Mr Nasty in Victor, and redneck version of Darryl and Brandon in Ricky and Bubba.
As for Hester even in a behind the scenes progamme on Storage Wars, Dan Dotson the auctioneeer said Hester was an A Hole at the auctions, even though Hester was a totally different person away from it.
Hester is lucky though as he could have found himself geting blacklisted from auctions. The company that makes Storage War also make Ice Road Truckers, and when a form cast member on that stirred up problems, they got him blacklst from attending various promotion events.
I won't miss him Hester. There a difference between what he does and Victor does in Storage Wars: Texas. Victor just drives the price up a bit. Hester would rather drive someone out of business.
Oh dear
It has been suggested that the producers put little gems in some of the lockers to make it more interesting. It has even been said that it's not their own money they are bidding with.
Could just be sour grapes from Hester though after he was sacked.
I wouldn't be surprised if some items come from the "experts" they feature in the series where they go and get appraisals done.
However they do get to keep the more ordinary items. Jarrod and Brandi deal online on eBay as well as their own online website, plus Jarrod is co-owner of Outlaw Apparrel, the brand he clearly advertises when ever he wears it on Storage Wars.
Intrestingly the do have items they have found on Storage Wars for sale. they have on sale
For a while ther was SW New York anybody know what happened to that?
I think Hester filed a law suit aginst the producers after he found out that they were giving Jared and Brandi money so they could bid higher for certain lockers. I know Barry is a friend of the makers who was soley brought in to be a "character", he made his millions in Fruit n Veg!!
Hester is a bully though, he actively tries to put others out of business, something he freely admitted during the special they filmed in a Vegas casino. Other cast members said to his face that he was an asshole, but he see's it as business.
Loved the episode where T-Money was bidding and Jessie, and Brandon took the P.
T: Money
Jessie: More money
Brandon: Even more money
Jessie ; The MOST money
I liked him and his man-bag!
I know, it's weird when real life actually happens in these shows, was anything ever said on the programme about it?
