Because stars just gotta dance, and they just do not care how many untrustworthy “b”s are crammed into apartment 23, ABC’s monkeying with its Tuesday-night lineup took its next, inevitable step today when the network removed Don’t Trust The B---- In Apartment 23 from its schedule, effective January 29.

I loved this show...what a shame. :(

DTT*IA23 was ruder and weirder than any other live-action
US sitcom. And JVDB was brilliant as a parody of himself-
no longer do I think of him as "the annoying guy from
"Dawson's Creek"". Chloe was great, and she
actually had more in common with animated characters
like Roger from "American Dad!" and Bender from
"Futurama" than any live-action anti-heroine.

Hopefully it'll be released on DVD and streaming soon,
so at least we'll be able to watch it again.

    Ah that's a shame.

It was one of my fave comedies of this season but sadly the writing was on the wall for it.

But good news that Happy Endings is saved.

Agreed! Always hated him in Dawsons Creek (yes, I watched it. Actually, I have them all on dvd. :o ) but loved him in this.

And the appalling "2 Broke Girls" is a rating smash.

Even though I didn't think it would get a 3rd season, this is really disappointing. The start of the 2nd season wasn't that funny but it had definitely picked up in recent episodes (the 'Murder Chicken' one was brilliant). Maybe it should have stuck to a short run of 8 episodes rather than stretching it out to 20+.

With 30 Rock coming to an end and the future of Happy Endings looking bleak, there aren't going to be any comedies worth watching in a few weeks time.

I can imagine JVDB walking onto the "Fringe" set as it's
being dismantled. "Hey Josh, you wanna do a show about
Dawson and Pacey struggling with marriage and
    fatherhood?" ;)

You can add New Girl to that (which I still watch out of habit for some reason). How does it get nominated for awards? I think the last time I laughed at it was early on in series 1.

    MEATBALLS!:D

I liked the first season, but the second wasn't funny, I gave up soon after the première... I'm going to go against the crowd and say I do like 2 Broke Girls and New Girl though...

2 Broke Girls is highly amusing with one liner after one liner.

I thought New Girl got funnier and funnier as the first season progressed.

Colour me crude, but this sucks major slack ass! The contrast of the two leads was great, June and Chloe made a great team, and James van der whatever was a very good bonus. I was really getting into this show, sad face time .... :(

Treat it as a one season show (1 + 2, 1 was short anyway).

Season 2 will probably be shown on E4 though.

From James Van Der Beek's twitter:

"Sad to say ABC has pulled #Apt23 and will not be airing the 8 remaining episodes any time soon. Translation: we’ve basically been cancelled."

Gave up after the 2nd episode as it just wasn't for me, but pleased to see Happy Endings may well live to see a 4th season.

If we ever get the frikkin' 3rd season in this country !

I tried watching "New Girl" (come on, everyone likes
Zooey Deschanel, right?") but couldn't get into it-
    it just didn't seem funny.

At least "New Girl"wasn't as crass
and mean-spirited as "2 Broke Girls" (hey, making
fun of ethnic minorities and rape victims is
hilarious according to Michael Patrick King  ).

It is a shame there isn't enough demand for DTTBIA23
for it to be picked up by a cable channel- it might do
better on somewhere like Comedy Central or FX.

I think there are too many comedy's in America not all of them get past season 1 or 2, just watch e4 and there are loads of American comedy's on there

That is the biggest thing that really gets my goat! When a show is cancelled, and they just shelve any remaining episodes! Are their schedules so full up that they cant even show the rest, even on slow nights where there is competition from stronger shows on other networks at the same time? Things like this really make me think they could care more about the viewers who stick with a show. Its all upside down imo.
