EastEnders: Tuesday 1/1/13 8:00PM We Wish You A Merry Christening & A Happy New Year!
Coming up in tonight's hour long EastEnders at 8:00PM On BBC1/HD and 10:30PM On BBC3...
Tonight:
It's the day of Lexi's christening and Phil is in high spirits as he wants everything to be perfect for his granddaughter. However, Jack's mood couldn't be more different as it's the anniversary of James's death and he is also feeling insecure over Sharon's connection to Phil. Sharon pleads with Jack to trust her as she has no plans to reignite her relationship with Phil, but she's soon left stunned when Jack makes a spontaneous decision to propose to her.
Phil surprises Sharon when he asks her to marry him - this time for real.
Not long afterwards, Sharon heads to the Mitchell house and has a heart-to-heart with Phil. Sharon then receives her second big shock of the day when Phil presents her with an engagement ring, also intent on marrying her!
Later:
Ahead of the christening, Lola and Billy are shocked to see 'Lexi Billie Mitchell' on the order of service. Lola wants her daughter to be christened a Pearce, but Phil suggests that Lola could become a Mitchell too and then they'd all be a proper family. This gives Lola food for thought, especially when Phil adds that Sharon might also be a Mitchell again soon. When everyone heads to the church and Lexi is christened, will it be as a Pearce or Mitchell?
Also:
After the service, a smiling Sharon accepts the proposal of the man she loves - but who has she agreed to marry?
Meanwhile, the Masoods are shocked to learn that the Kayani family are due to arrive at midday with their son Rashid, who they envisage as Ayesha's future husband. However, Ayesha soon does a runner from the house which means that the Kayanis are left waiting. Later, Masood manages to track Ayesha down and advises her to choose her own path. What will Ayesha decide?
Elsewhere On The Square:
*Roxy and Amy move in with Alfie, Jack remembers his late son James at the churchyard, while Shirley lands herself a new job at McKlunky's.

lol at Shirley working in MCcluskys..dirty food and bad hygene..:( yuck
Well at least there's service with a smile......oh wait.
Thanks Zack- loved Yoda!
Cheers for the thread as well, Zack. So Shirley finally gets a job, eh [has she ever had one?!] Should be fun, 'service with a whine' and all.
Didn't she work at Ian's chippy for a while? She has experience with grease....
Yep she did.
She also had a very close encounter with grease when she went home with Derek...
Ewwww I forgot about Shirley + Derek.....
No problem, you did a great first thread yesterday
Loved the star wars names, SJS was actually in the 2nd prequel
Thanks. So he was.....I never knew that....guess I gave him a massive character upgrade then...:p
yea, dropping **** ash everywhere on the food and on the counter
Lmao.
Are there any confirmations as to who Sharon accepts?
Haha I hope so
Indeed he was the Naboo Lieutenant with the opening lines and died just after
Thanks Zack:)
First episode of 2013 and they give us a nice hour-long episode.
Happy NewYear everyone:) x
No but its probably
Thanks Dan, Happy new year to you too!
Repeat is a bit late tonight
I prefer Sil
Thankyou:)
As long as its not Shack- can't stand Jack at all!
If you drop an H and add a B, their two names merged would be "Pil Baron" quite appropriate really.
Anyone have any spare straws? I have more clutching to do.
I'm saying nothing:p
Imagine her crazy rants being said all back to front...:D
