I'd love Black Heart to win. This is fan voted though isn't it?

    My top 5:

    ADELE - Skyfall
    Alex Clare - Too Close
Coldplay featuring Rihanna - Princess Of China
Labrinth featuring Emeli Sande - Beneath Your Beautiful
Rudimental featuring John Newman - Feel The Love

I'd love Princess of China to win as it's my favourite of the 5, but I'll be happy with any of the above.

No. Professional panel decides the winner! :)

They changed the rule after last year's disaster (1D winning over Adele).

Either Emeli Sande or Stooshe. 'Hot Right Now' is not a bad song either, but I'm not sure it deserves such a major award.

    I think it's between...

    Adele - Skyfall
Emeli Sande - Next To Me
Labrinth featuring Emeli Sande - Beneath Your Beautiful
Olly Murs featuring Flo Rida - Troublemaker
    Stooshe - Black Heart

I am near certain either Beneath Your Beautiful or Skyfall will win.

My fave single of the last year was between Under The Sun, Call My Name or Something New so i really couldn't care less...but the above songs are all deserving.

Since it's panel voted, it means one of the adult contemporary songs will win (although pretty much the entire list is adult contemporary anyway, except for Hot Right Now, Feel the Love, Mama Do the Hump and R.I.P). Feel the Love I think is in with a chance too though.

I like most of the list though. I'd be happy with any winning except for Princess of China, Spectrum, Domino and Troublemaker.

    I'd rank them like this:

    1. Rudimental featuring John Newman - Feel The Love
    2. Alex Clare - Too Close
    3. Rizzle Kicks - Mama Do The Hump
    4. Florence + The Machine - Spectrum (Say My Name)
    5. Emeli Sande - Next To Me
    6. Adele - Skyfall
    7. Labrinth featuring Emeli Sande - Beneath Your Beautiful
    8. Robbie Williams - Candy
    9. Olly Murs featuring Flo Rida - Troublemaker
    10. DJ Fresh featuring Rita Ora - Hot Right Now
    11. Coldplay featuring Rihanna - Princess Of China
    12. Rita Ora featuring Tinie Tempah - R.I.P
    13. Jessie J - Domino
    14. Stooshe - Black Heart
    15. James Arthur - Impossible

Feel the Love quite easily my fave there - deserves to win, but i'm fairly sure it won't. If it's actually a panel choosing the winner, I think they'll either give it to Adele or Labrinth

    Stooshe - Black Heart

Here are my Top 6, but really none of the songs stand out to me; I just want these artists to win :/
Would've rather Jessie Ware (Wildest Moments) or Marina and the Diamonds' Primadonna - both far superior tracks, in my opinion.

Out of the nominees I personally think any of the following deserve the Brit award:

Emeli Sande - Next To Me
Rita Ora - R.I.P. (Ft. Tinie Tempah)
Labrinth - Beneath Your Beautiful (Ft. Emeli Sande)

    Black Heart
Very different to what came out and was a lovely throwback to a Supremes type era.

Florence + The Machine should win it. Love that song. Plus apparently Florence was one of the only, if not the only UK artist to hold number one for three weeks last year.

Now that it's panel voted (yay), I think the winner will be out of Beneath Your Beautiful, Skyfall and Next To Me.

I dont get the panel vote thing?
Do you mean it is just voted for how all the other awards are voted for..or a special panel JUST for this award??
I think it should be the public who choose personally

Am I right that the shortlist for this award is compiled from the top selling singles of the year? If so blimey, I can't believe some of those managed to get in there!

I'm guessing a win for either Emeli Sande or Adele. I'd be happy with either of their own songs winning, but not Beneath Your Beautiful as whilst I think it's a nice song I think it's a bit too try-hard - like a paint-by-numbers hit love ballad.
