I'm thinking the comic title was 'Jet'/ 'Valiant' or of that ilk.
The story was regarding a German scientist invading the UK using giant animals (I have picture in my mind of the scientist riding a monster wasp which was driving its sting through the roof of a police car
).
The title I am sure was 'Von ???????'s Army.
Any ideas?
