Anyone watching?

I am interested to see the footage, but the commentary and comedy music are already grating.

    Who's filming rockhopper-cam as rockhopper-cam films the penguins underwater? Rockhopper-rockhopper-cam? ;)

Can't help but wonder if the penguincams were just an excuse for showing off someone's slightly sinister toys. Are penguins that much more observant than any other wildlife?

Ok, I'll admit that's some good footage.

I always thought that penguins were not as cautious of humans as a lot of other wild things, with all the shots of the robots one can't help but think someone is showing off.

Aw - they were so funny running the gauntlet of the seals/sealions but I was ready to hide behind a cushion in case one got caught. Don't like the nasty bits of nature. :o

The endless footage of Rock cam and Rockhopper-cam, and David Tennant's voice, is making this programme a bit annoying now.

Some lovely scenes of the Emperor penguins. :)

A lot of jiggery pokery going on in the editing as usual, what camera is filming penguins being interested in the penguin-cam ?

They are funny though. Nature's Buster Keaton, expressionless, implacable and resigned to their misery as they fall through the ice, run the gauntlet of outraged seals or fall arse over tit into the briny for the 23rd time.
