IS this a virus ??

Hi i have just done a scan with malware-bytes and it came back with two infections, PUP. OPTIONAL 0 PUP. OPTIONAL 1 any feedback to explain will be appreciated

linked to real arcade games ?

    Not necessarily nasty. Might be a download utility or something?

    No it's not a virus, it's what it says, a Potentially Unwanted Program.

    Malwarebytes is just flagging that up for you look at.

    I would guess it's a component, or part of the Real Player's stuff.

    If you use it then you can just put it on Malwarebytes ignore list. If you don't then uninstall the relevent software.

    You could go to virus total website I'm sure its the one that checks individual files (if you can identify it) against a selection of anti virus progs.

    PUPs can still take over your browser, insist on being your search engine and direct you to dodgy sites etc, so if you don't know what it is, best to get rid of it.
