If somebody owns Disney Infinity or any of the Skylanders on the Wii and has the 'portal' and characters bought for the Wii what actually carries over and can be used on the PS3.
What would need to be bought to play these games on the PS3?
Thanks, I thought that was how it worked. My nephew has them all on the Wii and is wanting to move over to the PS3, as I know nothing about these games I wanted to make sure what I had assumed was actually right before telling him he only needs the PS3 disc.

I know you definitely need to buy the game again for ps3.
I'm just not sure about the portal.
Apparently, the Xbox 360 Disney Infinity portal is console specific, but the other versions are interchangeable.
That's according the the Disney Infinity Facebook page. I haven't tried it personally.
Same goes for Skylanders as far as I can tell.
So moving from Wii to PS3, you should just need the disc - probably an eBay or CEX job.
