Ignore the name and the nasty rap near the end, also bearing in mind I'm a bit desperate for UK news, but I wouldn't mind a song like this.

It's just a normal stage with a catwalk into the audience area. I can't see a video wall marked on the plans either - that curved black line at the bottom is just the back of the stage. They could put any bits of set dressing or coloured lights they like in front of it, without turning it into a 100ft video screen.

Bit odd putting the priests on first if true. I always think it's better to start with one of the saner entries so as not to drive everyone away before it's begun :p

I'm getting really confused about the rules regarding religious content in Eurovision and Die Priester in Germany. 'Ave Maris Stella' is a religious hymn AND not a new composition (the lyrics are straight from the hymn). Why is it being allowed in USFM? Would it not be allowed in Malmo?

    Help, anyone?

They won't scare away the casual ARD viewers :D

Söhne Mannheims saying Europe want our sort of song :mad: Cascada will have no dancing just backing singers. Mia and Saint Lu are really nice. Ben Ivory is a bit annoying with his doing it for the minorities.

@MissMidgard as I said at the time when the acts were announced half of these songs break Eurovision rules yet the Big 5 have one set of rules to the others (Daz Sampson)

    What about Daz Sampson?

So 'Ave Maris Stella' does break Eurovision rules. How frustrating. Makes it difficult to back as an entry. I might as well throw my hat in for Cascada at this rate.

Those ones are all just filler really though, right? None of the favourites break the rules.

    Who's the favourite for tomorrow?

I know Cascada are fairly popular all over Europe but not that big in Germany

Mia or Saint Lu could do OK.

I think it's going to be very open. The papers keep banging on about Betty. Ben and Blitzkids have been getting airplay. Söhne Mannheims are very German but nobody ever admits to liking them. Cascada I think can do OK but the Jury is the question. Nica and Joe I wouldn't be surprised to put in the best performance.

Been listening to the Irish songs again this morning. Zoe Alexis is friends with the Irish lad from One Direction who's been promoting her chances and Ryan Dolan's toured with Jedward. That could turn into a battle of the fanbases.

As long as it's not Son Kez....
