You may have seen The Trip starring Steve Coogan and Rob Brydon.

This is a clip of them doing a Michael Caine impersonation:

In which film does Caine say the line above, if at all?

I've Googled it and many people say Get Carter, I have just watched that film and he didn't say it.

    That's easy......Get Carter.

He's talking about the niece of his dead brother who got drawn into doing some dodgy porn by the people who killed his brother.

It may be in the scene where he actualy sees a bit of the film and that woman is in the bath.

I thought the same thing when I saw that clip on 'The Trip'. I'd never heard it before and assumed that it was 'Alfie'

It's certainly a tricky question as there seems to be no references to it on the web other than people asking what it's from.

Thanks for the replies. I guess the only way to find out properly is to watch his films - the ones where it's likely to feature ie Harry Brown, Alfie. I've never watched the Harry Palmer films so maybe they're worth a look.

Is Alf Roberts (Corrie) in that one ?

Indeed he is. He meets his maker after being thrown from a multi story car park by Carter.

    Thanks.

I'll keep an eye out for repeats or a DVD.
