Did you get a coffee machine? I didn't want a pod one either....can't see the point in not being able to make a pot of coffee....so ended up with a good old- fashioned filter machine....supplemented by a Bodum jug for occasional use
I do like my coffee, you see Have taken recently to serving it with a tiny Lindt chocolate egg.....well, after dinner anyway

Oh, and to do some laundry......daughter works in a nursery and brought home 20+ cot sheets for washing. Guess who ended up doing them on a Saturday evening, while she went out on a date? The things you do......:rolleyes:;):D

how civilised......that sounds lovely....
Ive given up trying to make coffee.......as well as those made in coffee shops....their machines are so much more efficient, and cos they use them daily the coffee is lovely and fresh and the machines are lovely and clean as well.

I know we have only just finished Christmas, but does anyone fancy a weekend in Lille in November to go Christmas shopping? Have you looked through WHICH magazine georgy? They take a lot of stress out of deciding about appliances. Local libraries usually have copies if you aren't a member. I will look through my back copies to see if there is anything?

My hometown got 40 inches of snow but the main roads are clear and shops are open. All this done within 24 hours.
The day-school was great. Had a wonderful time and was told that my drawings were GOOD! Only problem - I was pooped!!!
Busy week - osteopath, dentist, visit to Bodleian reserve collection, physio - such an exciting life I lead.
