I was curious about this due to her solo success originally but it's nothing special. I don't really think there's a market for her now with the charts being as they are.
she's getting a lot of bad press for this video and unfortunately for her, its well deserved.:( i appreciate she's doing this new music for her fans and she doesn't really have a substantial budget, but this is embarrassing on every conceivable level.
That's part of the reason I checked it out in the first place. Some of her early solo stuff was quite good and certainly quite catchy. This one is just a bit bland really.
Not very good for somebody who once sold 12 million records 😉
I shouldn't laugh....but.....well....OK...I'll allow myself a snigger
Obviously Australians aren't bothered by the title.
I'm not surprised the single didn't do well though, it reminded me of a song Katy Brand would do spoofing another artist, and then the video just added to that image, for me anyway
The song was the absolute pits and no one is checking for her anymore.
I sympathise in a way, but if it hadn't been for her staff banging on about what a megastar she was/is then I wouldn't even be bothered
We shall see....Kenny will be back soon I'm sure.
Now now....it was 393
Charts dont mean much anymore, Madonna has not had a Top 10 hit since 2009.
Yeah, but she's Madonna
but she has tours that gross hundreds of millions
I'm sure it would have been on iTunes in Australia where the chart position and sales are from
There's a difference between not having a top ten hit in four years than your hyped comeback single reaching in the lower 200s in a country where you have been on prime time, highly rated television show week in week out
Actually Give Me All Your Lovin would have gone in at number 6 had the official chart company not excluded it then deleted it because of the album pre order deal. The exact sort of thing that recently stopped Gaga charting.
As for Geri. Her fans have grown up and she has been out of music too long to have retained a following but releasing it only in Oz never made any sense to me. Her biggest fan base is the UK. So if this was a project for the fans only then she hit the wrong market.
