This is the kind of album I have been wanting her to make. Smart move.
Same. I liked her past music but wanted a PURE album from an artist perspective. And she's finally done it. This is her future. Being an artist if she wants to get even better.
I'm listening now. I'm normally only a casual Beyonce listener (love a lot of her singles but wouldn't buy the albums) but this album is surprisingly good. I'm tempted to buy it.
BUY it. Buy B'Day and 4 while you're at it. They're worth it :P Not even kidding. They work better as albums. Her singles from those aren't even the best tbh.

It really is worth it, the videos are absolutely gorgeous, so they alone would be a reason to buy it.
I LOVE Pretty Hurts, the message of it, the video, all of it.
Love or hate Beyonce, this whole "package" is piece of art, IMO, and clearly shows why she is so respected as an entertainer.

B'Day is a really, really good album. It's really fun and mostly up tempo. She made videos even for the tracks that weren't singles.
I Am Sasha Fierce - Probably the most commercial album she's done, but there's something for everyone on here and introduced us to Sasha Fierce.
4 - Before listening to this I would exhaust her previous albums. Listen to them like crazy and then listen to 4. You'll see just how mature the album is. This is my favourite and in my opinion has some of her best work ever...Countdown, Love On Top, End Of Time.
"Art isn't perfection, it is better, Art is raw and meaningful and it is inspiring. An after 25 years in the industry I feel really inspired from what Beyonce has done. She has changed the game, and for the better in my eyes. This is a true Beyonce album, she started with a blank canvas and now has created this masterpiece. The sounds are incredibly futuristic, she may have just changed RnB, time will tell."
Listening to it now and will check the videos out tomorrow. I like to make my own versions of video in my head and see how close i became when eventually watching them
Havent heard the full songs but i have seen the you tube teasers and ehard them...and just well...right when i logged in i was :OOO woah!! she released this without anyone knowing....now THAT is how you do a music event...just BAM the art and work is there...soak it up.
ANd i am loving the experimental vibes and the mroe ream-esque/nightmarish landscape of some clips i have heard and visuals i have seen. THIS is what art is all about and i am massively surprised...i wa snever that much of a Beyonce fan before....i liked Bday and 4 as very good...the other two albums i am mixed on...but this is the artist she should/could be and i am so so so impressed by what i have heard here.
Also i am glad she will physically release it on the 20th too i wanna pre-order a copy and experience it a fresh.
Like some posters say on here and other blogs/forums and FB sometimes they paint visuals in their own head...i know i love to do that too with Madonna, Kate Bush and Bowie really and create this area/space in my mind to revisit...so the fact she sees it like that too i really appreicate and love what she has done .
I find it funny that every album i have hyped recently...the one i least suspectdelivers beyond any expectation i had for any of them...and i love that.
Anyways i will get around to the songs soon but this move is genius! It just hasnt failed...everyone knows about it and it is INSANE...love it....the teasers i love all of them thus far...so here is to it...album number 5!
so disappointed in this album! have been waiting all year, such let down, many sadness, wow.
i like the whole surprise element, and the videos for each track is a wonderful thing, but the songs themselves, not so much. i've never really liked beyonce's ballads and slow jams, and that's mostly what this album is.
blow is great, as is partition, which kind of reminds me of diva, but no other songs impress me. and i thought artpop was rubbish!
This is an album that sounds like it has been worked on for a few years. It's been hyped for ages, and you know, it really pays off. Bey has done herself wonders with this new material. I was wary about booking a ticket to see The Mrs Carter Show as it would be all the same set list she has been doing since 2011 but if these songs are played on next year's dates, count me in.

1. End Of Time
2. Countdown
3. Best Thing I Never Had
4. Love On Top
Agreed. I wanted I Care as the last single tbh. Just AMAZING live.

That's settled then, I think I will

As expected.
I really wasn't expecting this.
I immediatley love Pretty Hurts.

Other than that, this is a million miles away from Sasha Fierce and 4.

I read 200k predicted. Would of been more if physical wasn't for another week and a bit.
