Just got a HomeHub - How do I turn off Openzone/FON?

We don't need it, or even have a relatively new package so we can't access other openzones anyway. Looked on the website and i'm not opted in anyway, so how can I stop my homehub broadcasting the two channels?
Thanks.

You need to contact BT and ensure that you are opted out.

If you package doesnt allow you to use BT openzone access points with Fon, you can still access the Fon network world wide.
also being part of Fon with BT has no cost effect on your account, and it doesn't use any of your data allowance.

To opt-out of BT FON simply follow the steps below:
    Go to www.bt.com/btfon
Click on the Check Status link on the left of the page
Enter your @btinternet.com email address and password and click on the Check Status button
Scroll down to the opt-out section.
Enter your @btinternet.com email address and password again and click Send
You will then see a notice confirming that the opt-out request has been accepted. Please follow the instructions in this message
Remember, if you ever want to opt back in it is easy: just visit the BT FON website.

Though this is BT so you'll probably find half the menus aren't there :D
