According to a link I saw on Facebook, he got back on stage and continued the gig as his leg was being plastered.

Yeah there are pictures of him sat in a chair playing guitar and singing whilst a medic is plastering his leg. What a legend!

Proper legend. There is not alot of people who would get back up on stage in a wheel chair probably still in great pain and continue the concert in full. For anyone else this would have ended the show and that it ok but not the Foo's.

I am meant to see them in 10 days but that might not happen now. I don't mind though and I hope he gets better soon. The Foo's don't like to cancel who knows maybe Grohl will play the drums and vocal with Taylor out front with a guitar.

The band posted what appears to be an x-ray of a broken leg on Twitter: https://twitter.com/foofighters

You need both legs to play the drums properly so it's more likely he'd just play the guitar sitting down!

My admiration for this man has gone up ten fold, He must have had some serious pain killers to continue like that.

Still no news regards the shows for Wembley...

All in all, his health is more important than shows at the mo...

He might be ok for next week. He'll have it in a cast and will need to sit down but I can't see any other reason why he wouldn't be able to play.

Good on him for sticking with it.

Absolutely! The insensitivity of some people on the web elsewhere never ceases to sadden and shock me. Feel better soon Dave, and I'm sure that he will play on if he can!

Not long to find a headliner for Friday at Glastonbury.

I was supposed to see them at Edinburgh next Tuesday. I'm disappointed but understand that his health comes first.

I know a few people who were supposed to be seeing the foo fighters this weekend. They're gutted.

I hope that his leg heals soon :(

Grohl is such a legend, I'm sure he won't have cancelled any of these shows lightly, he is after all rightly regarded as the nicest man in rock. I feel sorry for all those who had tickets to see the Foos, but I expect he'll reschedule where possible, possibly play Glastonbury next year, etc. Hope he gets well soon and that there's no permanent damage that stops him playing drums in the future.

Someone on Facebook posted a few days ago something along the lines of 'In your face losers, going to see Foo Fighters this Friday!'

Needless to say comments on the post went into gleeful overdrive when the news was announced.

Aren't they more likely to just bump someone up the bill?

Absolutely gutted that all of the wembley gigs are cancelled, I don't think I'm meant to watch the foo fighters at wembley, 7 years ago the one week i was on holiday, they played wembley...

I have been checking the foo fighters forum and people are getting emails saying that a Friday we'll get all the info regards refunds.....No rescheduling???...

At the end of the day his health and full recovery is at most important...

    Still gutted though!!
