GB is nothing if not consistent: his presence in any movie guarantees it will be rubbish.

^ Nods. Butler was great in OHF and the film was great too.

Was there any real need for this, btw? Kermode's getting far to full of himself these days.

The Good Doctor? More like the Smug W*nker.

He was alright in Olympus Has Fallen, and I enjoyed the film.

Olympus has fallen is an awful film and GB was a complete plank in the lead role.

Poor plot, wooden acting, lots of shooting though, but Dredd it isnt. A humourless yawnfest for me, don't waste your money on the DVD.

I absolutely agree wholeheartedly. Above all, it was a shameless propaganda movie. The amount of times they showed portraits of American Presidents was completely OTT IMO.

Butler's most under appreciated and underrated performance was in the little seen art-movie Man Goes to Shop, Looks Around and buys Yazoo and Coco Pops.

What a pretentious prick that Kermode is, or is that what you have to be to be a BBC film critic?
