Should I clear my browser "since the beginning of time"?

I'm having trouble loading the Met Office site and the advice is to clear my browser's cache. I do use CCleaner now and then but not sure if that clears the cache.
If I go ahead and clear it, which period of time should I choose. I'm using Google Chrome and Windows 7
Thank you

A little more questionable is cookies, which can remember usernames and preferences for web sites. If you clear them, you might have to re-enter some of that information - not usually a problem, just a possible minor irritation.
In chrome, just use
Ctrl + Shift + Del
Just select Empty cache and from the beginning of time.
Then click on Clear browing data.
Do not have anything else selected except, the beginning of time and empty cache, then you will not lose your history and cookies, as already mentioned above.
Sticking with Chrome Dialogue box.
The first box 'the beginning of time' is the only really useful selection.
I normally have the first 4 boxes below ticked which should do the job you require. Cookies might be the problem. New ones will be downloaded anyway. You may lose a few preferences but just re-do those. It may be actually be useful to do so.
The others you might need on some specific occasion.
I'm pleased to hear that it's not just me:)
