Well I am going to buy them because I am a big fan of the show. If the BBC DID decide to do something then I would only buy it if it was remastered or contained some rare footage, outtakes or extras, which would be great, if any survives at least!
Im sure they do. Plenty of every episode on youtube or their was so all would survive.

Yeah well I have heard that they just kept the important footage such as the episodes and then got rid of the stuff they didn't need such as outtakes and unused scenes, but I would like to see these from Series 1 and 2 if any survive, which they possibily do, if not in the BBC archives then in someone's home who worked behind the scenes on the original series. It is more likely that the newer series outtakes still exist because of the possibility of usage on the end credits. John Sayle, writer on the series, did tell me that only some of the outtakes were kept for the end credits and the rest were scrapped, but who knows, he did say he wished many of them were still around because they were really funny and had a great time making them and watching them. The earliest I have seen are two from Series 9 that appeared on 'Aunties Bloomers.'
I used to love Chucklevision, til I took the kids to see the guys at the theatre in Norwich. Their material was soooo lame, they could barely be bothered to perform it. And at the end, when they promised to meet all the audience after the show, my OH muttered, "To offer a personal apology?"

I found series 4 and 5 onwards on youtube not sure about series 3

That doesn't sound like Paul and Barry!! Usually their shows are quite good, in my personal opinion anyway and it is great to meet them afterwards and get some rare stuff signed. But you shouldn't expect too much out of them, they are in their 60's now, same with their brothers, the Patton brothers who are still going strong at 80 and 78!

Yeah I know, but I do understand their point. We either have the episodes on YouTube or not have them on DVD at all, because if they are available to watch on the internet, no one is going to buy the DVD's! Although I have put a few on other sites as I realise we will never get the full 21 series out at the rate they are going at, so Series that are not due for DVD release soon should stay on YouTube whilst earlier episodes should be removed to boost the DVD sales.

They remove sooty stuff too and they dont get released. They are just doing it to be spiteful and do not care its bringing in new fans to the show,.

Yeah too true. The BBC should have released Chucklevision and these other shows years ago and we would have had half a collection by now. I only release the shows that they think will sell but they were proved wrong with Chucklevision!

For years ive wanted a complete collection of Matthew Corbetts sooty show but alas have to rely on youtube to watch them.
A bit of news, Delta have now hinted that they may release Series 2 in October time now, rather than September, when it was estimated, so we may be getting another half term release again
Well yes, but ten years is a long way to wait! I do think after Series 2, it will be relatively easier to release the series because of the newer format and none of the inserts featured in the first two series, so hopefully we will be looking at, at least two series a year which would be brilliant and I would settle for that, but I could see that as being the maximum, which is better than one anyway!
Considering they only run for half a hour why is 4 dvds for 13 episodes.
The episodes all run for 20 minutes, but I guess they think 4 disc sets suit it. They could have done two and then made up the 4 disc set by including Series 3, but that would have taken even longer!

You mean episodes right?
No I mean series.
Oh yes, you can find Series 3 on YouTube, but it has been reuploaded because of the BBC removing them when it originally came to DVD. Try this link if you want to watch any of the series 3 episodes, nearly all of which are here, even some of the very rare ones. http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=chucklevision+series+3&oq=chucklevision+series+3&gs_l=youtube.3..0l2.788341.791285.0.791605.22.12.0.10.10.0.147.1090.8j4.12.0...0.0.hjbe5izPaRc
Im alright for now I downloaded them the first time they came on. Luckily really because 2 days later they got taken down. Damn BBC.

31st October 2012 and 6 episodes if Wikipedia is to be believed.
Hmmm yes this information is still in the balance, yet I am still awaiting a reply from Barry himself to see if anything in that statement is true.
