I'm going to see Sonata Arctica in Nottingham tomorrow night, I cannot wait! It'll be my third time seeing them!!

    Flag In The Ground

    Fullmoon

    My personal favourite:

    The Day

    and one with Banjos! :D

    Cinderblox
Lucky! Another band who doesn't seem to know Newcastle exists :(

Nottingham, Manchester, Birmingham, London. That's it.

The Cage is my favourite track. I think that's the first one you posted a while back :)

    It's all over the net.;)

I know. I was merely insinuating that it was a deliberate leak.

I'm sorry but all the marketing hype surrounding Ghost really puts me off them. Especially as they're nothing new.

Ah yes, I remember posting that! The Cage was my favourite of theirs for years but I've kinda overplayed it now! :D

Definitely, I'm planning on filming them playing Cinderblox if I get a decent view so if that goes to plan I'll post a link up here. :)

That would be most appreciated :)

If you get the chance to talk to them, point them north willya? Wintersun are playing here in June & if they can find us then Sonata Arctica have no excuse :p

Thought I would post this little Queen ditty, one of their harder numbers

Queen - Princes Of The Universe

Man, when Roger hammers those sticks at 0:26, give me chills

Amon Amarth have released the first track from their new album, due for release later this year. It's available as a free download from their website.

    F*ck me, it's good!

I just got back from the Sonata Arctica show in Nottingham. It was a fantastic performance, easily the best of the three times I've seen them. The setlist was brilliant tonight, they played about 6 tracks from the latest album plus a couple of their older tracks which they don't often use in their live sets such as "The Gun" and "Tallulah"..

The rest of the set was made up from the usual SA live tracks ("Full Moon", "Replica", "The Last Amazing Grays", "Don't Say A Word" ect..) Highlight of the concert for me was either "The Day" or "Cinderblox" which was a lot of fun and really got the crowd going!

I recorded a few short video clips plus the full songs of both "Paid In Full" and "Cinderblox" which I'll check over in the morning and if they turned out okay I'll upload them to Youtube and post the links here...

Ah, that sounds brilliant! :) Looking forward to seeing the clips. I went out & bought Winterheart''s Guild today - you've definitely got a convert here.

    According to Wikipedia

Malice is an American heavy metal band formed in the early 80s. Their sound is comparable to that of Judas Priest's, and they are notable for having toured with popular metal group Slayer. They had mild popularity that disappeared and reappeared frequently.

I'm still calling shenanigans. That video contains almost every cliche in the book :D

So, what do you make of the other lot then? A spoof or just a band who seriously don't understand metal?
