These were my favourite Emmerdale opening credits

Even if they do sound and look like a Regional News Bulletin!

Then why bother posting? Must you continue to dictate how supposedly bad Emmerdale is? You're entitled to your opinion, my friend, but please stop acting as though you are right and we are wrong!

I still can't comprehend how anybody could call this pish but still, you're entitled. Just please stop pronouncing your hatred to the world. Not meant offensively so I do apologise if it comes across as such, but nobody cares!

Should Emmerdale have the form of EstEnders, a map of the North Yorkshire Moors for the opening titles?

    No

Emmerdale is in the Yorkshire DALES so why would they show the North York Moors? :p

    You're thinking of Heartbeat, kid.

Emmerdale's opening credits are okay apart from that last shot of the van - is it just driving around the village every day? Can no one give the poor sod directions?

I think that Emmerdale should have seasonal credits.

    Winter
    Spring
    Summer
    Autumn

Seeing Yorkshire in its autumal glory would be beautiful :)

I don't like the current titles, I prefer the ones just like you Elsie. I also prefer the older theme music rather than this 'orchestral' version that they currently use.

The current scenes are OK, but we're being shown beautiful conutryside and then they suddenly cut to a dirty old tractor in a field with gulls flapping round it! How nice!

It just seems a bit abusurd seeing the lush greenery of Yorkshire in the middle of January.

I know that they alternate the End of part one and Part Two idents, but I think that changing credits would be lovely.

It can't cost that much, surely :p

I guess they just want to keep their titles consistent like other soaps :(

    I agree with you.

I dont so much dislike the titles, but the music.

They should have THESE titles again
